Fans Forum-TONIGHT. Doors open 6pm for 7pm start

Post by midtable »

I assume a lot will go and there will be plenty of dismay at the state of the club. If a couple of fans pledge to sell their houses (large detached ones) to help TUFC it will be a start. If not I am not sure how much we can moan at the board. They are hardly perfect but the players fund indicates how much the rest of us are prepared to pay towards the club and it is not enough to keep things viable. I have no answer but someone with money is required. If O Kane had been sold by Bournemouth at a decent price we might not have any worries but it was not to be.
When the club was first taken over by the new board including Deano, the whole proceedings were videoed and put online. I hope someone does that tonight to avoid 'they said no but I think they said that'' which tends to confuse everyone.
If the Herald Express are excluded from proceedings ( like they were at the AGM in July) that really would be wrong and insulting to the fans. Frankly, the board should encourage questions from local journalists.
Fingers crossed but money is too tight to mention.

If any forum member is going tonight, if they would be so kind to take a reasonable set of minutes/notes and post them on here after it would be massively appreciated I'm sure by the exiled fans. I for one would like to know what is discussed

I asked this of the club a while back. The whole thing will be filmed and posted on YouTube as soon as possible. I did suggest it was live streamed, but TUFC 1899 seems to refer to our technology as well as our inception.

Matt

Even Torbay Council film their meetings now. Perhaps not the ones where they discuss Plainmoor with some "property developers"

Looking forward to reading what happened later. Stuck in Bicester tonight or I would have been there. :-(
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

I was told his actual words were 'keyboard wankers'.

Does that really matter.? He can come out with whatever phrase he wants. He will be gone in two months

The only thing that matters to me is whether we will have a club left to support. What matters is who will be running the club at the end of January.
