Announcement this week??

Post by SatNav »

Does anybody 'in the know' know whether we are likely to hear about the takeover/managerial appointment this week? It's all getting a bit frustrating now...

well, it was a bank holiday yesterday and it just past 3pm now...I'd suggest a bit of patience :)

Would expect something this week, though.

Don't panic! When those who know announce what they know, then we will know. Expect an announcement sometime during the next three months. And also a fans' forum sometime this year. And I expect us to be playing in the Championship in five years' time.

I'm off to get some sleep now..

Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. :goal:

Dave Thomas reminding us of what Dave Phillips had said about the new owners:"new ambition, new expertise and, crucially ,the sort of new investment which his board has always been unable to supply" ( HE today)

Anything else would represent a massive lack of ambition, which could - in turn - lead to oblivion.

My position is simple.......no ticket.
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

Only Torquay United could manage to make a takeover announced nearly 60 days ago last into the period where all our players and manager are out of contract. I think more than anything else this shows what Gaming International really care about, as otherwise they would have resolved this by now...even if it took locking everyone into a room for a week and hashing out every issue/finalising the deal or ending it once and for all.

The conspiracy theorist in me says that with no players or coaches on the payroll it will only take a few quid to make the other staff (tea lady etc) redundant and GI have some real estate to sell and make a profit on! ;-) Bye bye Torquay United, hello Wimpy homes estate!

They wouldn't be able to do that without the consent of the Cary Estate and assistance from the council.
