MOTM - Stockport

Post by Gulliball »

A home game and a win, so no excuses today! Anyone who I catch attending the game and not adding a reply will go on what will become known as 'ze list'.

Up to five players who excelled today. Thanks a lot,

Chris

If you want to, I'll just split their points.

Hi all, first post!

Been following the Gulls since 1996 - first game was 0-0 with Rochdale when Jason Roberts played, anyone remember it? Been a lurker on here for years without actually registering!

1st game of season on Saturday (won free tickets in that npower competition - felt like royalty sitting in the Family stand instead of my usual position on the pop side). I live in Wales (boo) so difficult to get to games but hope to be at Cheltenham at the end of this month to keep my unbeaten record there going (3 visits, 2 wins 3-1 in promo season, 1-0 Alan Connell scored later winner and one draw last season which was possibly the worst game of Football i have ever seen).

Anyway if i had paid on Saturday i would've felt let down by how bad Stockport were. Didnt put up a fight at all. Even felt sorry for their fans at the end!

If only there were an newbie introductions area. We could call it "Ice Breaker"

For my money:

Robinson
Manse
Other new guy
Kee
The referee.

Matt.

1. Robinson - Was always there ready for a pass and made great crosses!
2. Zebroski - Skimmed past a lot of players and always in the right places.
3. Kee - Ran the whole 94 mins (Yes, including stoppage time)
4. Stanley - Good in the mid field always trying to get the ball.
5. Mansell - Towards the end started actualy helping the team on with great runs and encouragement.

(Sorry about any miss-spelling)
