5 in 6 years, Smiffy.

From memory, we've had..

Birmingham (Prem team at the time)
Southampton
Brighton
Blackpool, then Coventry

and now Carlisle.

Says it all that an poor-Premiership side (at the time) is the best we've had. :(

As for the game, I fancy us to win it. They wont fancy that journey one bit, and will know that we are a real force to be reconed with in the cup. We give anyone a run for their money.
5 out of the last 6 years?

Brighton
Coventry 4th round
Brighton 2nd round
Southampton
Birmingham

couldn't be much worse, other than being away to them.

Attendance 3500, and they are decent, be interesting to see what the bookies odds are, my guess we wont be favorites.

Totally fedup!

Being away to them would have been a killer, agreed.

Can see the attendance being between 3500/4000, depending on if the club reduce prices again. I can see Carlisle bringing more down than Walsall did, to be honest.

I'd rather have the 'underdog' label going into this one.

Its a tie that will not take our mind off the league games before it, as its not a tie that everyone will be talking about. I think we could go onto beat them. Its a huge journey, they won't be relishing it at all, as we have a decent cup pedigree under PB.

Carlisle will bring at least 500 Id say. Over 800 of them came to Walsall last Saturday. OK Torquay a lot further for them to travel but that won't stop them. They will certainly bring more to Plainmoor than Walsall for sure.

I guess it's too late to tell people I definitely do not care who we get, so long as it's not Carlisle at home?
