Senda is still recovering from a strain he picked up - although likely to be back pretty soon apparently (according to HE).
As for the goalscorer - will have to get my bro to see an optician by the sounds of it! Mind you, he likes the look of Oastler - big, strong and doesn't give the ball away - just what we need at the moment!
Mind you his wiki entry (ok so not to be taken as gospel) says 5' 10"
Soccer base says 5.08
Oh,ho ho, very good, Permatanned one... Shall we go with 5'9 in his studs then...?
He's sounding quite promising today, may go and revise my +/- list. So fickle.
Argyle pulled it back to 2-2 ... but we won it 3-2 with a Gritton penalty after Macklin (we think!) was brought down.
Deserved victory by all accounts as we were the better team. Oastler played well and Rose did ok too - he played as a winger second half (with Macklin alongside Gritts). He certainly "puts himself about a bit" according to bro.
All good stuff.. but what happened to the fans forum report.
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.
Excellent post, Matt. A thoroughly enjoyable read and well worth the wait.
Some interesting points, especially regarding Sillsy.
Good to see that Buckle and the club won't settle for just being a Football League club. Hopefully there will be plenty more of these forums as it really does strengthen the bond between the fans and the club.
