Macclesfield Town v Torquay United 27/1/18

Post by SuperNickyWroe »

Well thought I better start a thread....

A visit to Macc, one of my fave away grounds that I have visited.
as we all know, we are in turmoil and Macc are top of the league - the most perfect team to be playing then!
Trust us to be playing them the week after they get rinsed 6-0 at Fylde. Great.
It would be typical of TUFC to go there and win........

Safe trip up to the brave souls from Devon and the South - see you there.
Will be with the usual Northern suspects - Bixieupnorth, Keir, Mick, Lucy6, WestyorkshireGull and maybe EmetEdadsBeard.....
Hoping for a win.....

Up the Gulls.

Will be coming from Stockport, can't imagine I'll be seeing any games in the Conference South so this'll be the last game for the foreseeable future. Can only see a comprehensive defeat, 3-0.

Macc will get their 6 goals shipped at Fylde last week & some without reply , sorry that's just the way it is with us
Teams that get a hammering the game before playing Torquay always bounce back positively, any team on a bad run just have to wait to play Torquay to end it.
That's how generous we've been & it ain't changing any time soon.

Which goalie should play. They both made mistakes in recent weeks. Who do people think defence more confident having behind them.

Well team selection and shape will be interesting today.
Clarke or Dorel. I think GO will stick with Clarke.

Efete Balatoni McGinty. If we go 3-5-2.

Reid Dowling Young O'Sullivan Gosling.

Romain Williams.

I expect Josh Gowling to play some part in the match.

My head says 2-0 Macc and my heart says 1-0 United.

I think we will get something today..... only joking. 4-0 hammering.

Forget the season, that’s over. We just have to win matches to save ourselves any more embarrassment. But it will not start today in my opinion.
