Only positive is that Dorel has signed until the end of the season, to hopefully eliminate Clarke playing in goal again this season. As for the usual additions of loanees from the pound shop, we can only presume it is business as usual tomorrow at TQ1. We may huff and puff, but Bromley will capitalise on any mistake. Bromley 2-0, Williams will score one of them.

Just maybe, we may get an early goal and then who knows. Will be there and hopeful as always.

Earlier in the season when hope was still springing eternal, former Gull Brett Williams scored a hat trick as our chaps lost 3-1. Fast forward to January and the door to the last chance saloon is starting to shut. Straws are there to be clutched at.....last season we beat Bromley at home. William Hill have Torquay as slight favourites on the coupon. The new chaps have had another week to get to know each other (apart from the new striker!).
A highly unlikely 2-0 win in front of a diminishing crowd.

Interestingly and no disrespect to your formation is that the defence is the least of our many worries. We need someone that can score a goal. As we are quite evidently unable to score a goal the best formation tomorrow would be 5-6-0 Who would settle for draw. The strike force is non existent

well i expect Romain to be straight into the team

whether he plays as a solo striker, or as a duo

Potentially Mitchell and Reid could play with him as a front three, no reason for him to be on the bench

Apart from us and Hartlepool the rest of the bottom half of the table are playing games against each other. That means there will be more points than usual going to teams in the bottom half of the table which is bad news for us whatever result we get.

Come on Torquay the great escape starts today with a win as we begin our rise to safety. Leading us to the away game at Orient (providing Orient get thumped by Dover in the FA vase) Saturday the 24th Feb will see us win for 7th time in a row as we lift ourselves out of the relegation places dumping Orient in our place....... OK maybe 6 wins Macclesfield away next week might be tough ask for a win, will settle for a draw!!!

Going to Plainmoor today expecting the worst which means we will win against all the odds.
We are down to 17 games so today really is the last chance saloon if we are to get a good run going.
Bromley will be very tough but we just have to win today somehow.
Dorel to play a blinder, if picked, and we scramble a 2-1 win. Surely our luck must turn soon.

Owers has raised my hopes "All I’m trying to emphasize to the players is that we’re trying to find a way of winning one football match" - so I shall be going just in case today is the one match we win out of the remaining 17.

Lets hope this time around Karma don't slap us in the face with another hat trick from Williams.

First of all it's Bromley. Bromley everybody.

No disrespect but it's Bromley. It's not Real Madrid, West Brom, Wolves, Shrewsbury, Luton or even Tranmere. It's Bromley.

11 similarly poor footballers pitted against another poor assortment of footballers. They will be cheered on by 19 fans so superb vocal backing will not be forthcoming for their players which must be taken advantage of.

The new lads must start. If not Owers is a buffoon. The new lads must perform otherwise likewise and send them back.

Win this game. Earn your money and gain a little self respect and confidence and everyone benefits. It's not actually that difficult all things considered.

On that bombshell i have to go for a 2-0 win.

Bet 365 somehow has us at 6/4 and Bromley and 7/4! Advised my girlfriend to put her money on Bromley, hoping for an inverse jinx...

Can't really see us pulling it out of the bag against a team challenging for the playoffs, unless we manage to score two without reply. If they score first, we crumble; if we score first and don't get a second, we get nervous and the inevitable collapse comes. Here's to hoping.
