Torquay v Aldershot match day thread

Post by Dave »

Going to be an interesting game this one, a few weeks ago would have feared a right pumping, but we've seen a steady improvement with our team dominating games yet failing to score in recent weeks, but two straight wins, 4 goals scored none conceded should have given our team both confidence and some momentum to push on, as new signings begin to settle and things starting to look as if, there just beginning to click into place under Ower's and Kuhl's direction

Aldershot will start this game favourites, they're on a flyer right now, four straight wins, no goals conceded in their last three games, going to be real test on how much we've improved.

As forevertufc stated, this will be a great test as to how we have improved recently. Surprised bet365 only have Aldershot 5/4 for win, even we are 2/1 for win, which is quite short odds. We do seem to perform better against the top sides. Going 2-1 Aldershot.

3 nil loss

My prediction has worked for our last two wins. 😊

I suspect no team has had 5 wins on the bounce in the National League this season so I predict a draw 1-1. Guy our new French signing to score.

The long winning run to carry on. Possibly not a game to match the Monday night epic in 2008. Going for an extra pair of socks and a 2-0 home win. Young and Keating to score.

I think it will be tight and whichever sides takes one of a limited number of opportunities will win; lets hope it's 1-0 to United.

Sounds okay at the moment! They only have four on the bench and just noticed there is no Rendell or Fenlon for them. Confidence seems like its on the up as well so everything points to a United win!

From the above then, we'll lose 1-0....
