All very cosy. A very quiet Recruitment manager from Chew Magna, a seemingly defence obsessed Chief Coach from Bath and a member of the Chairmans family as the General Manager.
It of course doesn't matter what League we are in, and the fact we sold Blissett and have taken a year chewing over replacing him and that we infuriate supporters by the week. It's land value that counts not the Division we are in.... Simples.

Phoenix club lads. It's the only way to ensure football in Torquay. :-D

Maybe after next weeks defeat it will become clearer. :scarf:

The club is sleepwalking towards certain relegation this time and I can see no way of avoiding it. Sad but true.

Its November. We are 6pts from safety. Hardly impossible odds. Get a decent striker and we will climb the League.

You never stop whinging about Torquay being crap and we should start a Phoenix. Why dont YOU do it then?

Very disappointing to lose at home yet again. It seems that we go one down and its game over. Its looking bleak at the moment.

Not just losing a game of football, it's the outlook off and on the field in the future looks bleak.

On the bright side we played well and for the first time I actually felt sorry for everyone involved because they worked their b-llocks off. We have just got to keep playing like that and the tide will turn. It would be good to find a good striker quickly though. :)

Yes, hard to be critical after that performance. If I was going to pass any criticism, it would first half lacked a little passion and desire, some individual poor decision making also through out the game, at times static off the ball.

Defence solid through out, think they only really conceded one chance in the second half, apart from that the back line was faultless through out the game, Maidstone have scored from that 1 in 10 free kick their lad couldn't have struck better if he tried, clumsy to give away though.

Second half performance was good as I've seen TUFC play in a while, done everything but score, overall certainly deserved a point, feels like a smash and grab raid today being honest. To be fair though, Maidstone did defend well when they got front.

The standard was set in the second half that's the performance level required, and needs to be found week in and out, do that, and as Arcadia says above, the tide will turn.

Football is about scoring goals. We don't have the personnel to do that.

We didnt play well we lost, again.

It was obvious after 5 minutes McQuiod and Reid up front wouldn't work as they aren't strikers and at time both left the box leaving no one to attack a ball in.

The goal we conceded was poor and obvious as with a small wall

McQuoid should have been subbed off for his horrific miss when through on goal!

Keating did more than him in his usual late cameo

Happy clappers accept another loss
