It will be interesting to see the formation for this 1st game for our first team. Cant see beyond 4-3-3 with the players we have. Could be chasing shadows a bit as City have already played 4 games. One thing I have learnt over the years is never look at pre-season results as an indicator for the season ahead.

City's manager has stated that the squad he'll use tonight will 'be a younger one' than the first team he put out last night.

And for those who like a bet. The match is on bet365. Torquay 13/5 for win, city 4/7.

Agree and that's if we do well also...for me it's after the 1st 6 league's games where you can start to judge

I am certainly no betting expert, but I always find it quite bemusing that bookies offer odds on pre season friendlies like this - quite simply because you never know what side either Manager is going to put out. However, we do know that Nicho is intending to play his "proper" team and that BCFC - having played a strong side in their 3-0 win at Bath City only last night will play a "younger" side tonight. Surely, with that in mind .... the odds for a TUFC win should be much shorter than they are?

It's only their youth team!

Bristol City have released the details of the squad Lee Johnson will take down to Torquay this evening......

It’s a very youthful side with just Taylor Moore, Zak Vyner, Scott Golbourne and Diego De Girolamo bringing first team experience to the squad.
Here’s the 20-man squad in full...
Alhaji Sesay, Jack Stanley, Scott Golbourne, Taylor Moore, Zak Vyner, Aaron Parsons, Aden Baldwin, George Nurse, Opi Edwards, Ashley Harper, Harvey Smith, Joe Morrell, James Morton, Tom Richards, George Dowling, Jonny Smith, Diego De Girolamo, Jake Andrews, Kel Akpobire, Freddie Hinds.

Can't really complain after the dross we treated stoke Gabriel to.
