Absolutely brilliant result today from the lads and that's got to be the longest 45 minutes of the year so far. Following through Twitter is hard work but a hell of a lot better than the old days and Teletext!.....Who remembers page 2/4......and thinking COME ON!!!!

Very important that the lads don't see it as job done though as we're more than capable of throwing this away.

However, that league table looks very satisfactory tonight :)
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

Fantastic win and fantastic performance by all accounts.

I was staring at my ipad for what seemed like an eternity before it went Yellow full Time 1-2.

United have taken 15 points from the last 10 games (50%) which is commendable given the pressure they have been under.

Persuaded the wife to come to Plainmoor next Saturday for only the second time ever so lets all make a big effort to bring a mate, relative, anybody and try and get 4,000 into Plainmoor to show GI and Gordon Oliver that TUFC is very important to a lot of people at home and abroad.

Was going write a long spiel but I'm not. Lets just enjoy tonight. For people like Glostergull - not in the best of health but trying to get to the game today. I don't know whether you made it or not but I salute you sir.

This result was for you especially, and everyone else who uses this forum - I love you all and the best thing is I know you are all feeling as happy as I do tonight.

I know we have only beaten a bunch of part timers but it could have been a team of girl guides for all I care. A TRULY MAGNIFICENT RESULT.

Its only natural to start fretting about next week but at one minute to three today we would have bitten both a blind mans hands off to be in this position.

FANTASTIC.
Terry - are you feeling OK? I've never seen you so emotionally positive! Great result it was and I think that means you are coming to next week's game -see you then for a catch up!

Argyle fan here, but whose grandfather played for The Gulls. Fantastic result today. One more result and The Gulls survive to fight another day. I am so happy for you. Had I not already bought my ticket for us v. Crewe on Saturday I would certainly have been at Plainmoor.

Well that was the most enjoyable match I’ve been to this season. And the most nerve wracking last 15 minutes.
A thoroughly deserved win though, especially in the second half when we played the ball on the floor and looked a much better team than Dover.
How frustrating that we are in this position after at least matching three of the top six sides in our last three away games and picking up so many points against top sides, but what a relief that it’s now in our hands.
Superb support today which the players clearly appreciated. Gerring had only been on the pitch for 2 minutes but jumped into the crowd at the final whistle and looked like he was going to burst. Well done to Nico for his tactics today and for installing such team spirit.
Now I have to explain to my wife that I simply have to travel down to Torquay next weekend (and hope she doesn’t realise that’s five weekends in a row I’ve travelled to follow United).
The players and fans mustn’t relax and think the hard work is done – we need the same passion on Saturday that has been shown in the last few games.

Good on you Brucie. I've disagreed with much of your output but tonight we're on the same page.

What a game. We were dealing with everything they threw at us and at 2 nil I thought that was that...but obviously we did it the hard way. Longest 15 minutes of my life!

Great away day. COYY

And well done to the Pilgrims on promotion back to Div 1. I'd like to see Exeter join you from the play offs. Who was your grandfather by the way/

Great post, Brucie. Sums up how we're all feeling tonight, whether we're 10 years old or ...... as old as Wivel. I'd made up my mind not to listen to the radio commentary, but like a moth to a flame ..... I tell you what - you Gulls fans who were there came over loud and clear from the first whistle to the last. Fantastic support. Dover fans? According to the radio, they were walking out near the end when the score was 2 - 1. With supporters like that, they don't deserve to go up.

But as others have posted - it aint over yet ! North Ferriby have nothing to play for and may well try to go out on a high. We have to attack them as we attacked Braintree last Monday. A win - no messing ! Any news on Rauri Keating's injury? The radio commentators weren't sure if he was injured or felt unwell.

Hi, Dover fan here. Terrible game for us today. You out sang and out played us. Your desire to win was clearly greater than ours. The result prob scuppers our chances of a playoff place, but Torquay deserved the points. Congratulations and may it keep you from relegation.

Thanks, it was a good day among many shit ones from this season. I actually enjoyed the game in part down to all the locals I met who were all friendly and welcoming. Not the hellhole I was expecting although I didn't do much sightseeing ;-)

Guiseley & York would both need to win.

16 result in us being safe.
The other 11 can be seen below.

The 11 results that we dare not think about.
7 would need two from Braintree, York and Guiseley to win.
Braintree - Away to Aldershot
York - Home to Forest Green
Guiseley - Home to Solihull

As everyone else is clearly and deservedly pissed as the last post was 3 hours ago, what a win today. Why does this club do this to us. Fair enough we have achieved nothing yet, but we have, after Lincoln it was virtually over, now we have it in our hands plus the 27 possibilities from other teams. Absolute credit to the management and players. Not sure if brucie has been Amsterdam recently but please stay away from plainmoor next Saturday

It would be in our interests for Dover to beat Macclesfield mid week to ensure that Aldershot still have something to play for on Saturday.
