Torquay United v Maidstone

Post by Dave »

I know, as we all do, things off the pitch with our club have not gone well for some time, which is leading to events on the field progressively worsening, so right now getting the enthusiasm, to support our club is difficult. But supporting our club and the use of this forum, is, and can be what you make it.

Haven't got time to research a proper thread. We all know so far our home form has thankfully been very good, compared to our dire away form, hopefully we'll see a continuation of that tomorrow , as three points are needed to lift back into a comfortable mid table position.

Many have talked on here about a new formation, and for Nicho to try some thing different, tomorrow, we may see this.

Be interesting, to see if Nicho does change it, and how a new formation will work, we know our team has faded badly in the later stages of games, maybe this will help overcome that.

On the basis of seeing every home game so far and in each there has been a gradual improvement, I'll say 2-0. A bit worried about the crowd though.

Fear not, I'm breaking my ban to make my first appearance of the season. I saw Newton Spurs last night though so there's a lot to live up to.

Over here in Cloud Cuckoo Land I'd like to see a 5 nil goal fest to redress our goal difference.

I think we're on a run - but not a good one. Thus:

TUFC (0) 1
Maidstone United (2) 4

Att: 1386.

I am trying to be optimistic.

TUFC 2
Maidstone United 2

Art: 1765.

Wivelgull I fear is just being realistic.

When you say "we", don't you mean Whitby? :na:

Very windy in Teignmouth this morning.

I am going for 2-1 win and hope we keep the ball on the deck. Lumping it forward only concedes possession 9 times out of 10.

Will be very interesting to see the line up today.

What a pile of shit.

LRT and Richards are worse than useless
Defence is abysmal
No cohesion up front and I should have saved my money.

Oh dear! The atmosphere is starting to get rather toxic.

We're being outplayed, outsung and we haven't learnt anything from the last 2 games.

I hope Nico is giving them the hair dryer treatment because that's the worst half of football I've seen at Plainmoor this season.
