Wivel, I think that the gate will be a fair bit higher than you predict, it's a lovely day down here and only Man City on the box to keep the fair weather fans at home.

I'm not sure about the score though as, from what I saw on the box myself, Altrincham were unlucky to lose to Halifax the other week. They won't be here to make up the numbers.

I'm nervous.

This is the biggest game we've had for a while. A win and we'd be within touching distance of safety, but lose and we're in big trouble and fast running out of games. A draw wouldn't kill us, but might be a wasted opportunity to pull clear.

Just please, please, please win today and we can forget all about this horrible season and look forward to the future.

I cant travel down to the game and I don't think my nerves will hold out for the radio commentary. Instead I will go for a long run and by the time I get back and shower and log on I will be seeing a season saved and a Gulls win - never thought this would be a possibility ten games ago!

Ah Wivel - I hope you're right with the score but I think the gate will be over the mythical 1800 'break even' figure. Another good win for Whitby last week which lifts them out of the relegation places. They must have also picked up a point or three midweek which I missed. It's just beginning to look as if both of your teams will be safe ...... but definitely no chicken counting yet. Anyway, up the Gulls and up Whitby (do they have a nickname ?)

Please let this be wrong. This man is one of the biggest prats ever to blow a whistle at Plainmoor. I wouldn't let him referee a primary school reserve team friendly.
