SantCruizScotty - i to will be travelling to this game on my own from bridgend. i was planning on training it there and back. how were u planning on getting there (you may've mentioned this but havent read the whole of this thread)?

Could buddy up as long as you're not a murderer or anything :)

I'm planning on taking the day off work and going up early to meet up with a mate who im dragging to the game, but could maybe come back on train together or car if ur planning on driving?

Main reason i came on here is what a pile of sh!t the online cheltenham ticket office is. it says i can order tickets for the game but when i go into it, it says chelts havent got a game on 22nd feb!? Or will i just be able to pay on the gate when i get there?

P.S. Scotty - didnt reply to ur pm as it says im not allowed to as i havent posted on the forums enough....who came up with that rule?

Might need a hand carrying it in the ground.

It's to prevent spammers from sending countless pm's to members. Once they post we have them under control, sorry if it inconveniences you as a new member but you could bump your post count up on the popside using a few of the threads ;-)

Feel free to post any thread about travel arrangements, it's one of the reasons we're here.

As Paul (Awayday) said, we usually meet up in the social club beforehand, friendly and welcoming to us Gulls.

The stewards are class too, put ours to shame.

I've been released from duty to attend this match, just waiting to hear from the Papa. Fingers crossed.
It's been a while since I've been to Cheltenham is it still a dump?
Have they finally provided decent facilities for us ladies? It was horrible before, portable loos that looked and smelled like the last day of a music festival and right next to the home fans. Not pleasant.

Perhaps you might want to tell them you're Alan Ball. They will probably let you use the executive facilities then :na: :na:

Skool 'olidays, just up the road, good run of form, a team we are liable to beat, I'd suggest 325-400.

NickGull wrote:Don't know if I'll be able to get a thread for this or the Saturday 26th as I'm away, so this thread might have to do. Unless I can get 3 up before Monday, but I think that's a bit unlikely, what with starting a new job and all that.

Apologies
NickGull wrote:Just thought that I'd make a thread to put all the new dates for the rearranged games, and I'll add to it as more occur (if the weather doesn't cheer up soon!). So, here goes..:

Torquay vs Burton Albion - Originally 4th December; now Tuesday 15th February.

Torquay vs Rotherham - Originally 18th December; now Tuesday 1st March.

Torquay vs Cheltenham - Originally 26th December; now Tuesday 22nd March

Torquay vs Crewe - Originally 8th January; now Tuesday 11th January

Northampton vs Torquay - Originally Saturday 26th March; now Friday 25th March.

Bury vs Torquay - Originally 28th December; new date TBC.

Torquay vs Chesterfield - Originally 30th April, now Friday 29th April.

Cheltenham vs Torquay - Originally 29th January, now Tuesday 22nd February.

I'll add/change this if there are any more postponements, but yeah, hope it helps :engflag:

Updated to include Chesterfield at home, and the new date for our tie with Cheltenham.

Pulled this one up from the archive to remind posters of the changed dates/times of rearranged games.
