Full time 2-2. Good result lads. Good performance and managed to hold on for a point. A touch more confidence and belief and we'll be able to close out games like this. Onwards and upwards.
Mmmmmm, beeeeeeeer.

We would have taken a point before the game with a weakened line up. If the ref had applied the rules and sent their keeper off we might have won it.
Four points out of six is tremendous lets be fair.

If the ref had applied the rules they would have had a pen at 1-1. Good point nevertheless, bring on Grimsby!

A draw seems like a disappointment after taking the lead, but the improvement is certainly noticeable, and we are heading in the right direction.

Hopefully we will continue to improve, and head upwards :)

Point at Woking is a positive result given their form. Long way to go, but so far moving in the right direction

That second half sounds like the best we've played all season by far. The last three performances should give us some optimism for the future as Nicholson gets his ideas across and maybe adds a player of his own. Fairhurst coming back next month could be a big boost - one of our biggest summer signings and he's not played yet.

Woking are a very good side and we've outplayed them in the second half and taken a point. Still a lot of time left to work our way out of trouble.

and Grimsby have used up a lot of goals this evening. Let's hope that by 5pm on Saturday they might wish to have saved some for their trip to Devon.

With our injuries and suspensions I was fearing a 4-0 drubbing so what a good result against an in-form side. Saturday looks like a tough challenge but perhaps we are now on the up! COYY!!

Sounds like a much better performance though. At least we are competing now.
A score draw away to mid-table Woking I will happily take given how we started this season.
I think the above is important though, Nicho has come in and got us playing so much better, competing in matches and if he can juggle the squad around a little and bring in one or two more experienced players I think we are all set to rise up the table. And when it happens it will be OUR team, a team managed and coached by fans of the club, a club owned by a group of fans. The future is bright, the future is yellow.

Pheeewwww!!!!

That was tense at the end!!

Well done lads - 4 points on the road is a great result.

My initial concerns re Nicholson's lack of experience are being slowly reduced. Let's hope whatever he is doing is going to be enough to see us through this season.

Looking at the BBC stats Grimsby scored 7 from 8 on target...not sure if that's a result of outstanding shooting or dodgy keeping, or a bit of both!

Without Angus and Dan Butler a cracking result.

Sounds like we very nearly won it at the end with a chance for Bell.

Southport,Halifax & Boreham Wood all lost and Kiddie only drew so results in our favour.

Grimsby who we play on saturday thrashed Halifax 7.0 so we will need to be at our best to contain Grimsby. Roll on saturday.
