'I was quite impressed with the difference Luggy had made in only four short days & wished he could have stayed longer; did you see the improved number of attempts on goal ?' =Z

Nice to see how the much maligned and much absent Ben Harding can play - he has been excellent in the last two home matches, albeit against ordinary opposition, but his ability to read a game, to play with his fellow midfielders, and to link with the attacks is in stark contrast to the late on-rushing arrivals of our captain and the general disarray of our midfield play this season; his extra height in the middle of the park has been an asset too.
Very drole as ever Taxilady!

Eighteen months too late I'm afraid. We've only got him for three more games. I'm 99.9% sure he'll be off in the summer.PL21gull wrote:Nice to see how the much maligned and much absent Ben Harding can play - he has been excellent in the last two home matches, albeit against ordinary opposition, but his ability to read a game, to play with his fellow midfielders, and to link with the attacks is in stark contrast to the late on-rushing arrivals of our captain and the general disarray of our midfield play this season; his extra height in the middle of the park has been an asset too.

A win against a very poor side just as the win against Kidderminster.
It does nothing to paper over any of the cracks in this dismal season.
One thing it did show is that we shouldn't keep Campbell he hasn't got a clue.
