From the commo then we're sitting in and not getting support to Benyon.

A gee up then from Bucks at half time and if it ain't happening then subs on 55-60 minutes ?

A real half of two halves!

For the first twenty mins or so we bossed the game, great passing and just like we left off at Wycombe. But we had no cutting edge up front and benyon was isolated.

We then spent the rest of the half getting pushed back, completely overrun in midfield and gaping holes popping up all over the place. Whittaker really started to get in the game, and only a couple of desperate blocks from
Mansell stopped lester hitting the target. Eventually they worked the ball to the right wing, where an inswinging cross was flicked in by lester via ellis' boot. The rest of the half didn't produce any chances, but we're getting nowhere.

We've had a few chances - benyon had a header blocked from a throw, nico had a blockbusting free-kick superbly saved and zebs shot over from way out. You can see why Chesterfield concede goals as two of their back 4 are awful (ford and mattis), but by the same token you can see how they score goals.

The tactics that served us so well at Wycombe aren't working today. Stevens as having a mare and we are missing Hemmings. Oastler isn't playing much better either. Need something extra up front - kee for stevens perhaps?

Didn't think Bucks would let this go on without making an early sub.

I would settle for a point in this one. Come on Torquay! 253 away fans is a decent following.
