Only one team deserved that today and sadly they didn't play in Yellow.

Did any player out there perform to their ability today?

Very very true super..but the thing is we were there and there on merit and not to perform on that stage is gutting.we weren't 10-1 outsiders to win the game so its a shame we didn't show the nation how we CAN perform..
Well done to the lads though for a great season..today will make it even more sweeter when we go up as champions next year....COYY

Team weraing red - Deadman with the whistle and we don't turn up to the races again...hmmm....nuff said

Magnificent season all round - well done to everybody concerned for providing first class long range entertainment and banter.

Confess to having concerns for next season and already bracing myself for a battle at the wrong end of the table.

agree mate.
just because they had never beaten us i think some fans thought it would be a stroll.
and yes we were there on merit, but it only counts on the day itself, and yes we didnt perform today.
but as i said who would have thought we would even get to the final at the start of the season??

anyway, WE ARE TORQUAY UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

massive massive let down against a team who ability wise we were steaks ahead of. No shots on targets in ninety minutes - well thats a damning statistic in a play off final.
Buckles after match assertion that we were the better side was abject nonsense. Our best period was in the 20 minutes after half time but Bucles substitutions actually made us far worse. We suffered from having absolutely nothing on the bench and it showed up bigstyle.
All in all it was terrible. We will never meet a worse team in a play off finals and we should be kicking ourselves from here to nagasaki and back for coming up short.
We comfortably beat a better side in the semi final but never turned up today.

I only watched the first half, but unless things completely swung our way in the second half, how does he figurte that out??

A bit irrelevant now, but I'm interested to know why the game was delayed kicking off??

EDIT : Ignore. I'll just read the thread on that!!!
