Whilst my main concern is to see us reach the 'safety' of those 50/53 points as quickly as possible my over-riding issue concerns the club off the pitch.
Without proper leadership and finances in place there will be no team to support regardless of what happens on the pitch.

Please resign Chris
There was no Kelvin Thomas watching yesterday. Hopefully on a 'find an investor' mission.

Torquay v AFC Telford
For what it's worth and saddo that I am, I hung around after the game chatting by the players' tunnel. No Torquay players emerged and the word was that it was "all kicking off" in the dressing room. Nobody went in and nobody came out until Vevsey about 45 minutes after the match finished t...

What next for TUFC and why?
Totally agree with A Realist as any players not wanted by us will be lucky to find another pro club; they might just as well start planning to follow Seabright's example.

James McQuilkin Midfielder signs
Hardly breaking news as McQuilkin said he had signed a contract to the end of the season in his interview published in Saturday's programme.

Given the choice would you want them next season?
As I posted on the 'Excuses' thread yesterday the team's first priority is to get to 50 points as quickly as possible to ensure Conference Premier football next season. I agree that over the last 13 fixtures of the season many of these players are playing for their football futures otherwise they wi...

As I posted last night these last 13 league games will have a big bearing on management and players' futures. Firstly we need to get to the 'magic' 50 points as quickly as possible - that's a priority. Then if I were the manager I would play those lads who I would keep for next season. We all can sa...

I expect, and hope, Chris Hargreaves will be our manager next season as with his own team I believe, with the experience of this season behind him, he will turn the club around. I agree, though, that the remaining 13 league games will define his outcome. Surely a home win next Saturday against botto...

F.A Trophy semi final 2nd leg v Wrexham
Abject performance agreed.
Crowd turned up but the team didn't.
Lots of emotional reaction understandable but I'll wait to comment tomorrow. The players are most likely feeling as bad as we are and like it or not so is Chris Hargreaves who really wants to succeed.

Ex-Gull watch
Probably not THE David Graham but I see David Graham is to reprise his original role as Parker in the forthcoming new series of Thunderbirds Are Go on ITV.

Cruise is injured so Ives keeps his place. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gueguen move to right-back instead of Pearce with Downes returning in the centre of defence. His leadership and experience could be key.
The most pressing question for me is will the pitch be playable?

POSTPONED: Torquay Vs Lincoln City
Tuesday's been and gone. As a long distance supporter from Berkshire I would hope that if there is any doubt about Saturday's match the club will be up front and let us know in good time.

Torquay United set for a take over ?
Should Tristan Lewis still be in the background he's now got other things on his mind. Following Hayes & Yeading's 2-3 home defeat yesterday (no Benyon didn't score either) Phil Babb the manager resigned leaving Lewis in caretaker charge.

A topic like this for the FA will be well down the list as they grapple with a Christmas World Cup.

Agree it's depressing reading about knock this, knock that about the club. Get a reality check: we're non-league for the time being but we'll be back! (To the Football League that is).
In the meantime we need to ensure the weather doesn't rule out Saturday's match! Not sure how though!
