Torquay United v Slough Town - 5th January 2019
Practically the same team, just with a manager now who knows how to get the best out of them. How shit was that Owers bloke? Whilst I'm sure we are all in agreement that our time under Owers was utterly abysmal, I feel his recruitment deserves some credit. MacDonald, Niate, Wynter and Cameron (my p...

Truro City end groundshare
I'm pleased that our pitch can get a rest and hopefully we can improve it. I'm also happy for their fans to get to watch Truro at their real home and also Woking have a mammoth away trip down there at some point, so hopefully Truro can do us a big favour! Or will Masters smell another payday at Pla...

Segregation
And only about ten Torquay fans sat in the extra blockstandupsitdown wrote: ↑01 Jan 2019, 14:32 Common sense prevails - they’ve moved the segregation line one block along today. Truro don’t need much space for their home fixture.

Seating issues
I was told on Saturday that the club bars will not be open as it's their home game and I imagine that means the food hatch as well as they are not open when Truro play. It will be strange paying at home for an away game. :) The club have already confirmed that the bars and food kiosks will be open....

Segregation
You wouldn't see Liverpool, Man Utd, Exeter, Plymouth, Woking etc give up nearly 1500 of their total capacity for the amount of away fans that turn up. Yes you would. Every club in the country has an "away" section and they are often half empty, when we've been crap our fans have rattled ...

BEST CHRISTMAS FILMS EVER!
Gotta be ' Love actually ' for me because of the late great Alan Rickman. A good chunk of me left this mortal coil when he was taken from us.Why are the good uns always taken with the a--holes left behind to split their stuff ? If you want Alan Rickman in your Christmas film then you surely Die Har...

As a matter of fact, the journey to Hampton and indeed most London teams we visit will endure over 4 hours of travel one way, Wrexham for example is about an extra 20 minutes. And yes I also live up north and miss the northern matches involving Torquay, even though I have been 5 matches already thi...

Torquay United v Truro City (Boxing Day)
This will be a tough game being alocal derby and Truro are a good side a big crowd will motivate them. The thing that makes derbies tough and unpredictable games is the passionate backing from both home and away supporters. This won't be the case against Truro as they will only have a mini bus full...

Boreham Wood v Torquay
Yes it will be. Boxing Day games are played at 3pm pretty standardly. It's a Bank Holiday after all so the fact that it's a Wednesday doesn't mean a 7:45pm kick off.

Torquayunited v Welling United 8/12/18
I don't think we went this long unbeaten in 98 but fairly sure we won 8 on the bounce, which equaled the club record if I remember rightly. That was a great season Yeah definitely won 8 in a row that season when Roberts and Jack were tearing defences apart. Most games without defeat? 17 in 2008 Mos...

Loanees
There seems to be a lot of unfounded worry about Lee Johnson getting the sack. Not sure why this would result in our loanees going back myself, pretty sure Brian Tinnion is in charge of the Bristol City youth players not Lee Johnson. If he is happy with how their loans are progressing here, then the...
