Bans
https://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/shameful-torquay-united-hooligans-banned-3650483 Despite being one of the people who advocated some of the club bans being overturned, it seems as though the club were in the right on this occasion and being advised by police. This isn't something that any o...

Harrogate v Torquay United 7/12/19
Think so, with Andrews and Evans maybe as cm, and a 10 behind Reid. Medford Smith maybe back to Reading?

Re: Torquay United V Wrexham 29/10/19
That's what BBC weather says, but Accuweather has it different, with no rain between 1600 and 2200. Also winds lower at 18.5mph. They were spot on with the weather on Saturday, and as the more optimistic forecast I'm going with that! https://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/torquay/tq1-1/hourly-weather-for...

Re: New Signings?
Not for us, or for Johnson. We've not had any kind of a proper target man here since Johnson turned up, I think he prefers to have mobile all rounders.

Re: Where has the Drummer Man Gone
I don't disagree that those stupid scenes threatened to spoil an otherwise brilliant occasion, just find the club's handling of the bans bizarre. According to someone at work the club have also strangely got in touch with Notts County, who have now sent letters to the banned fans telling them they w...

Re: Where has the Drummer Man Gone
Actually Jerry, it was slightly different. They did go up the away end to run onto the pitch and then sheepishly came off at the Popside, but it wasn't actually them who tried to get back on. It was one of their friends, on his own who was absolutely smashed and ended up scrapping with a steward. Th...

Re: Where has the Drummer Man Gone
I get your point Minneapolis, and despite my rant do think that to a certain extent they had it coming. It has really affected the atmosphere though, and it's for that selfish reason that I'm hoping that the club quietly let them back in at some point in the near future. There's thousands of people ...

Re: Where has the Drummer Man Gone
It's a ban from Plainmoor as far as I know, they're still free to attend away games. They were stupid, as the tannoy did repeatedly announce consequences for people who entered the pitch, but if there were 200 others then the club would have taken a very different and far more lenient policy. Also, ...

Re: Where has the Drummer Man Gone
They've been given season long bans for running on the pitch the last game of last season. As such they've removed their drum from the Popside.
Let's hope the club change their mind, the atmosphere has been so flat this season.

Not as lucky this year, Boreham Wood at home. At least it's a home tie I suppose!

Torquay United v Aldershot Town 24/8/19
Sorted a babysitter so there and out for a couple before. I think the attendance will be lowered slightly by the tv coverage, and can't see many shots fans planning to travel on their forum. Would be great for us to put on a bit of a show, and get the Popside roaring.

I find it strange that Rovers decided to tweet updates for a Tuesday friendly! Couple of Torquay players announced by their numbers only, maybe some trialists in there?

Bromley v Torquay United 10/8/19
Buse has been brought in as a utility squad player, i can't see him getting near the bench let alone starting, and he was absolutely torn apart at full back by Swansea's winger. One of his tackles on their player was a sending off offense, and possibly even gbh. Jake Andrews bled for the cause last ...
