Oxford (City) Away
As I understand it 2 Oxford players were sent off against Woking each time due to 2 yellow cards. A third player being sent off due to a red card on the 65th minute as reported by some non-league stats places is simply wrong. The latest part-time opponents started off with a 0-0 draw but have lost t...

Torquay United v East Thurrock United 11/08/18
East Thurrock United are currently bottom of the league with two losses so even we should have a chance. The part-timers will also be slightly more tired having played on Wednesday with the result' Dulwich Hamlet 2-1 East Thurrock United' . Are they terrible? No, just ordinary as they lost their fir...

Torquay United v Bath City 7/8/2018
In the old days we would have dismissed the idea of losing to a part-time team even in the cup. Now we play them every week. I like to think our extra energy levels from being a professional, full time team will make the difference in the last quarter of every game. 4-1 is my prediction.

Devon Live - Jim Parker
Jim's line is worth remembering "Some would say there is more chance of launching a hot air balloon business there using natural gas..... I hope I am proved wrong…". On the podcast the reporters have been reluctant all all times to complain about Gaming International. This is understandabl...

TUFC Fans offered free ticket...to Truro game!
On the official website TUFC season ticket fans can watch the Truro game versus the bookies favourites Billericay Town for free. "We will only be opening Bristow’s Bench for this game, plus access to the Gulls Nest bar via the Family Stands" Some say the ground sharing scheme will be a use...

Chris Regis - new signing
We have to support any new player who is in the team and I wish him luck.
Basically, if Chris Regis fails at this level his football career is over and he is driving Uber.

BBC Pull Commentary of Torquay Games
A few years ago it looked liked Plymouth Argyle's financial plight might mean they drop to non league. If they had slipped to our level would the BBC have stopped commentaries? Obviously no, therefore Mark Grinnell - managing editor of Radio Devon needs to think up a better reply. He is not a footba...

BBC Pull Commentary of Torquay Games
The basic point is that Mark Grinnell - managing editor of Radio Devon has the money to broadcast commentaries of Torquay United home and away but is choosing not to. For example in 2014 he controversially employed Simon Bates for a lorry load of cash, he could have gone for someone cheaper but choo...

Torquay United unveil huge plan for 10,000-seater stadium.
And so it begins! Osborne is using the prospect of creating a new stadium as an excuse to build houses on park land and literally make millions.

Cinema at Plainmoor 24th June-
[quote=Plainmoor78 post_id=226875 time=1529576140 user_id=23804] A two minute search on Google reveals that the promoter is Itchy Fish Film Ltd and the screening is a fundraiser for the club. I did a 2 minute google search and Itchy Fish Film simply produced and financed the movie. The previous Plai...

The Captain jumps ship
McGinty, has signed a two-year contract at Scottish Championship club Partick Thistle.
I always thought he had a touch of class and in the warm up routines his first touch was exceptional. Still, like a lot of players at this level he was not perfect. Good luck to him in Scotland.

season Ticket sales
I wanted to buy a season ticket but too nervous about who is going to be photoed handing over the ticket.
As the players and staff are away do I really want to appear on Twitter with the new manger of Boots and Laces?

Due Diligence at Truro
If Masters no longer had ownership of Truro he could take over at Torquay. It sounds too logical!
