Woking v Torquay Tuesday 13 Septamber 2016 (k.o.7:45 pm)
Not a great second half to say the least! Does anyone know why Nicholson decided to take Ward off at half time?

Woking v Torquay Tuesday 13 Septamber 2016 (k.o.7:45 pm)
I hope that we can pick up some point tonight. 5 or more from the next three games is a must if we are going to push on at all in this league.

Hargreaves
Good luck to him! I have always liked CH and will never forget what a great captain he was for the club. Hargreaves was the wrong appointment when he was brought in at Torquay and an experienced fire fighter would have kept us up but he cannot be blamed for a naïve board appointing the wrong man. I...

North Ferriby v TUFC Match thread
I would swap Chaney and Reid for this one. He may give us something different (pace). Chaney is a great option off the bench but with the 4 who played on Tuesday we are very flat across the middle of the park.

Macclesfield Town v Torquay United 6th August
Hopefully this is a good early wake up call and we can bounce back tomorrow evening.
We have a solid team although there is no way that it is as good as the side that finished last season. Gerring, McGinty and LRT are not Smith, MacDonald and Butler. Lathrope is not in the same class as Racchi.

Huth in two minds?
Still holding out for a Nathan Smith signs on loan story before the end of the day. Fair enough if Nicho made Huth a good offer and he did not accept it. The club will have a wage plan and it would not be smart to break this for one talented but unknown player at this stage. I am sure that Hutch wil...

Gus potentially off then!...
Note that Nathan Smith has not gone out on loan anywhere yet may have too many in front of him at Port Vale to be in the first team...

Angus could probably be sold for the full cost of the loan to GI plus enough to get in a cheaper alternative CB as a replacement if the board negotiate properly. I assume that he will have a release figure in his contract. From a squad perspective this is disappointing but from a financial one it co...

Is it on or off?!
He's tried to sell the club down the river just to recoup his money and retain a seat on the board. It's no wonder Steve Breed felt so alienated he had to get as far from the club as possible. Once they've spent the season ticket money, (stupid gamble when you realise half your fanbase have got in ...

Would love to see a right winger brought in but to me it looks as if Kev will play quite a narrow system possibly a diamond. Lathrope Sparkes AN Other (possibly Chaney/Richards) Young This would be more suited to Chaney than as a winger. Conceivably he could also play Lathrope, Sparkes, Richards and...

So what do we need......?
On a very positive note, if the season started tomorrow then you could line up with: Moore Verma Gerring MacDonald Nicholson Lathrope Sparkes Chaney Young Blissett Williams That team would compete at National League level and with a few additions then it could be very competitive. The priority has t...

Next Years Squad
In the Herald Express podcast they seemed optimistic re: Richards and Moore but less so re: Butler and Harrad. I think it is good that Nicho seems to be ensuring that his players stick to an offer deadline; "here is the offer, let me know by Friday or I will pursue other targets". He needs...

[quote="Jeff"]Pleased about Verma, a real utility man given that last season he played up front, everywhere across the midfield and at right back. I dare say in moments of dire need he could fill in at Centre back and do a better job than Richards did. quote] Great stuff - by my reckoning ...

The spine is gradually getting there. For me that's the most important 3 signings of those out of contract. MacDonald Young Blissett Let's get Moore tied down and build around that. Ajala seemed to have lost confidence since he returned last season which is probably a result of his agent trying to t...

I think that's right DaveJB. The sell on will be on what the profit is. I would assume that the sell on would be 10-15% so anything north of 2 million would be a huge windfall for the club and hopefully a fair amount could be pumped into Nicho's budget.
