At a loss of >£1,000,000 per year, that’s roughly £20,000/week we’ll need to shave off. I’d guess all players will be transfer listed as they’re our only real assets. Let’s hope we can see the season out!

Don’t think their pitch has survived one precautionary inspection this season. I wouldn’t hold much hope!

Austen Booth, local lad, has bought himself out of his Taunton town contract. We were previously rumoured to be looking at him. He’s a young centre back and I believe this is the highest level he’s played at. May be one to keep an eye on.

If McGavin, Laps and WJD are back then we’ll scrape a 1-0, if not then 0-1. We are toothless.

Am I correct in saying McGavin’s suspension will be for the Chelmsford match, leaving him available for Taunton midweek? Hopefully have one of the many injured back next week to fill his position.

For those near the ground, how’s the pitch looking? Have a long drive to make it for todays game, hopefully they can make the decision early enough.

Ruairi Keating has left Cork. Would be great to see him back with us.

David Sesay has left Weymouth to play full time football in this league. Would be a great addition for us, likely wishful thinking!

However Bristol city have recalled full back Zac Bell from Yeovil, so I’d expect to see Sesay sign for them.

Who do we have available? Craske, Moxey, Lapslie injured and I’m assuming Hall won’t manage to 2 games in 4 days…

We will not play a team of that level for another year. Their no. 7 moved to Chelsea (before returning 2 months later) for £1.5mil. Their no’s 9 and 10 both played a couple of games in the prem last season. Sometimes you just have to sit back and accept that we’ve been outplayed by a far better team...
