Re: Players

I hope that doesn't blow any chance we have to get Pringle back here.

Re: skybet next manager odds

I'm really warming to the idea of Forster. I think with him, Veysey, Davey and Milton we'd have a good backroom team. If he brought another coach in too then I think we'd be just as strong as last year there. To be honest though, I just want it over asap, so we can get on with planning for next seas...

Re: New kit...

This would be the 3rd season in a row we'd be in August without the new kit becoming avaliable. Is it impossible to get a kit out before then or are we just not learning lessons from previous seasons?

Re: Will Crawley be the most hated team?

Horrible club. Even though I do feel for their fans who have been supporting them for longer than Evans and Raynor, they're the one club I really wouldn't be sorry to see wound up or departing back down the leagues.

Man of the Match Totals & Players of the Month

Ok, last lots of stats, I promise you. To complete the set... For the 49 games we've played this season, the breakdown for the individual Man of the Match awards are as follows: Guy Branston (9.5) Chris Zebroski ( 8) Eunan O'Kane (5.5) Scott Bevan (5.5) Gavin Tomlin (4.5) Craig Stanley (4) Elliot Be...

Player of the Season if everyone was here for the same time?

One of the reasons I started the Man of the Match threads was to get an idea of how players performed over the whole season. For the past few years I'd run the End of Season awards with a vote in May and there was a heavy bias towards players who had done well towards the end of the season, so I was...

torquayfans.com Player of the Season

The season is over, and the results are in. Over the course of the season, the match going fans have been voting for their man of the match. I've added together the results from all 49 league games played this season, and the results are as follows... http://i55.tinypic.com/ifamna.jpg Congratulation...

Must admit I would find it funny if he failed there. Hopefully gone before the season is over.

Re: New boss poll

Leroy or Hargreaves for me. Don't mind which, but I don't want Trollope. Rioch or Harvey would be ok too in my eyes.

Re: There was one shining light

If he's going to the Championship, then a few hundred thousand would come in very handy for the club. But the sell-on clause is a must. Get 20%, and then if he proves himself as a Championship player his value could be millions in 2 years time.

Re: So much negativity!!?...

If we were keeping the squad and staff together, then a defeat like this would be a lot easier to get over. Unfortunately, it looks like we're going to see a lot of the club dismantled over the next few weeks, and an awful lot of work to do to build another squad like this. I think we've certainly l...

Re: MOTM - Stevenage

Well I'm glad one person agrees with me that Kee offered more than a few others...

Ok, he didn't play 'well', by standards of our season, but I thought he got into some good positions and kept hold of the ball, which Zebs and Robinson didn't manage.

Re: Goodbye Tomlin

I thought Tomlin was better than Zebroski. He at least held the ball up most times and linked up well on a few occasions, but the trouble was we never got going, so there was no-one around for him to link up play with, as he did so well in the semis. If the team had played better, then Tomlin would ...

Re: Buckle

We've already lost a lot of ground on the teams around us by being in the play-offs. If he's going, it should be Monday morning, and hopefully we have a plan in place to get on with next season.

MOTM - Stevenage

To complete the season then. 1. O'Kane 2. Tomlin 3. Branston 4. Kee 5. Zebroski Pushing it a bit to find 5, but they all at least did something. Deadline is 5pm on Monday, when I finish my shift at work. Hopefully the final results will appear later Monday night. Thanks for your votes over the seaso...
