A Fond Farewell
The next AGM would be very interesting and if my father in law wasn't so incapacitated as a shareholder I would be priming him with a few well chosen questions to ask what each member of the board contributes ( both £ and time/effort) and the whole management and decision making structure. I'm pret...

Disgrace
Two decisions now have gone against us and they will cost us FL status. Attempting to end Bodin's career is, apparently, fine. Jumping for a header with a bloke who is trying to break your nose with his elbow is worthy of a sending off. I can't prove it, of course, but I reckon we'd be 7 points bet...

Of course what Matt fails to mention is that he is a Man Utd fan.

Manchester City fan here...
I still quite like Man City. Like the colours and the history of the club - plus loyalty of fanbase. If a club deserve such success, then I think Man City fans do. The way they won the title in that dramatic game v QPR was incredible and probably 'typical' City to have such a shoddy defence of it.....

I won't support/go matches if relegated
I can't see the logic behind the "I'm not supporting a non-league team" view. The conference is full of exactly the same teams that we have been playing for most of our history. The players will be of the same quality as well, the players in the conference now would have been league player...

Time to switch games to Home Park?
I can I ask you the same question Matt, because you seem to think your an expert on this subject as well, as you also seem to think, this awful weather rolls in across the south west push's on up the country and so how doesn't go anywhere near Exeter, they have been hit by record rainfall as well, ...

[ I want to be catastrophically wrong. I want to be as wrong as Neville Chamberlain. I want to be as wrong as Michael Fish. I want to be as wrong as William H. Stewart. Sadly, like those three men and countless others through history, I really don't think I am. Matt. I agree with everyting in your ...

or maybe he's keeping open his options for a 'tail-between-legs' return here because no one else wants him? Hmm. This would suggest that he chose to leave to look for a better option, as opposed to the suggestion that Hargreaves had told him he wasn't needed here, which has been the story up until ...

Who will it be?
Also happy with Geoff Harrop to take over the Managers role. I wonder if he will be applying for the job ? If he gets us a few points in the next few games he could be a popular choice. No thanks! Plenty of clubs have regretted rushing to appoint the caretaker manager, the "dead cat bounce eff...

Who will it be?
Or maybe Sean Joyce?Jeff wrote: On the other hand, to throw one in from left-field, has Kevin Hill done any coaching badges? At least that would be one man who'd understand the club!

Who will it be?
I started a thread Yesterday about realism, so the next day we want Neil Warnock as our manager! How crazy are some people on here? Only one man crazy enough to take the job and that is Hargreaves. He's been interviewed for the Northampton job. http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/sport/hargreaves-eme...

FA Youth CUp
Arsenal away in the Youth Cup tomorrow night. Good to see that despite the troubles the first team are enduring we have a decent crop of youngsters coming through, Levi Ives in particular seems to get rave reviews whenever he plays (not often enough thanks to the clowns at FIFA although clearance fo...

Yes Stefano I did include the conference years as Matt only talked of years we hadn't been in Div.4. So I was technically correct although maybe not in the context of the conversation. :na:
