Should the club sack Alan Knill?

I go commando!

Seriously though they were by far the better side and Oxford got a spawny penalty. The point is that if they can compete then we as a vastly better resourced club than Gateshead should be able to as well!

Should the club sack Alan Knill?

Yes very clever. Unfortunately the facts remain Gateshead drew twice in 90 minutes home and away against Oxford. Anyone who thinks we can match that at the moment is seriously deluded.

Should the club sack Alan Knill?

Also a LOT to do with the fact that the Gateshead players would be up for it - it's the FA Cup, as good as a final for them....strange things happen in cup competitions. Well we certainly were not up for it in the FA Cup. Zero efforts on goal and a dismal limp performance. Players should be up for ...

Should the club sack Alan Knill?

The point is that a club with sub 1000 gates can produce a team who can compete with the best in League 2 so our bleating about our 2300 gates is a bit of a misnomer. A team can be created without spending the most money. That is the skill of a good manager.

If you were watching it like I am you would see that Oxford are awful and Gateshead are all over them but dont have a striker. Kitson in particular is terrible.

Should the club sack Alan Knill?

The leaders of League 2 are currently being played off the park by mid table Conference side Gateshead. Just shows we are bottom of a very poor division this season. Anyone in this division is beatable with the right work ethic and coaching. If we dont win our next match I cant see how AK can stay.

Salisbury v Torquay - PSF thread

Rendell is a busted flush. We should be looking forward. He had his chance and he blew it.

Re: PSF thread: Torquay v Yeovil (16/7/13)

Hands up I was wrong it is 34 which is still less than 56 ;-) . How convenient for you to discount substitute appearances to make your stats look better, disagree with these if you can. Last 3 seasons league appearances RENDELL 102 HOWE 108 ( so much for the suspension issue!) Last 3 seasons league ...

Re: PSF thread: Torquay v Yeovil (16/7/13)

Rene got 16 goals in 45 games last year, including 4 penalties and 15 yellow cards. Scott Rendell got 12 goals in 42 games with no pens and 3 yellow cards. Career to date, Rene has 62 goals in 194 games, Rendell has 87 goals in 194 games. Yeah, that Rendell, he's proper bobbins... Matt. Scott Rende...

PSF thread: Torquay v Yeovil (16/7/13)

Rendell was and always will be crap. Far too lazy and not in Howes class. He would be our first bad signing. As he didnt want to stay here last time why should we bail him out as his career goes down the toilet. There must be better options out there.

Just say NO AK!

Re: Rene off

:goodpost: It is still only May and hardly any players across the country have committed to signing new contracts with their clubs. I cant understand all this vitriol towards Rene, he is just doing what any one of us would do in his position. He owes us no loyalty the same as we owed none to the pla...

Re: The NEW Membership Scheme

Something seems wrong with the pricing here . I am a season ticket holder on the Pop but am waiting until I get my work bonus so I can renew. I will then be asked to pay £340 upfront. However with the membership scheme I can attend all game for only £324 and if I miss one even less. What is now the ...
