Part time football ?

"If" the Club goes down surely part-time football is a no-brainer? Someone posted on here how much they are losing per day/week already, so with less income there have to be major cuts or CO will need to fork out even more of his hard earned cash. There will have to be a reduction in staff...

Excellent piece on BBC Radio Devon pre the Maidenhead match. Brett Pilnick has certainly got the bit between his teeth and his interview with both MP Kevin Foster and Geoff Harrop is well worth listening too ... especially Mr Harrop's spluttering attempts to avoid answering all the questions. Why on...

TUST Updates

Would have been a nice consideration for any other Gulls who were there who use this forum to post some basic info and let us know how many turned up etc etc but perhaps everyone who went don't use this forum. Looking forward nonetheless to seeing the report. Maybe Mike/Michel swore them ...

As Flipper has said, a good turn-out for Cedric yesterday afternoon, crematorium was so full it was standing room only out in the entrance lobby! Faces there included: Mike & Sue Bateson, Heather Kenderleit-Badcock, Brian Palk, Ian Hayman, Anne Sandford, Kevin Hill, Andy McFarlane, Steve Tully, ...

I think this is where the confusion lies. Initially i thought the same as Tired Old Gull about the TUST in so much as i was expecting them to already have a mandate or a fixed direction but the reason why they haven't, as has been pointed out to me also, is that they are a democratic group formed t...

So after the meeting with all available members- someone from the TUST will then be able to cast some light on this issue and let the rest of us know the TUST objectives.
Good!

Tired Old Gull, it isn't for an elected TUST leader to come on here and explain their plans, it's down to people to join, attend their meetings and put forward proposals of their own and also vote on ideas from others. They need help, they need support and they need direction that can only come fro...

I do Teigngull. It feels a little unclear on what fans wish to achieve. Is it securing Plainmoor as a football ground or the future of Torquay United? I don't think the first does the second. I don't really mind where we play, I don't really mind what league it's in, I do mind that there is at leas...

QUOTE: "As Jerry said, the TUST is just a vehicle to express what the majority of fans want" .. that’s not true because I very much doubt if the majority of fans are TUST members, many not having even heard about it, let alone tried to get their head around what its objectives are. Sadly t...

I don't think you'll find me 'promoting' confrontation in any of my posts - nor did I accuse you of 'promoting' the Trust with every breath Merse! It would appear that Yorkieandy and myself are in the tiny minority on here who cannot grasp what the TUST are trying to promote, so be it then I can acc...
