Torquay United v Southend United Sat 25 Feb KO 3pm

You certainly don’t play Mensah. He’s at best a defender in a London league somewhere. I’m sorry anybody can see that. It was a ridiculous decision.

Three Strikers

Johnson’s tactical reason given seemed to make sense. Tope plays across the pitch. Collins apparently plays deeper. If the Notts hadnt got a questionable penalty we might have got a point.

January transfer targets

It’s time to get real.

It’s clear that there is no dosh.

The godfather is not going to provide any. We are loaning youngsters and hoping they turn out to be a Sinclair for us as opposed to a Street.

I think we all need to cross our fingers.

Mark Ellis! (Permanently??)

Easy to say but as well as looking at concession rates you have to also consider who we played in those periods. Obviously we played Derby twice in the latest run

Not if those with the money are unprepared to use some of it to buy off the managers contract.

Retained List 2022/23

‘Easily within the top eight’ . Not so sure about that Forever. …. Oldham, Scunthorpe, Wrexham, Notts County, Dagenham, Chesterfield, Southend, Halifax, Yeovil, York - all ten will need persuading of that. 0nly Barnet and Aldershot might feel that would be ambitious currently, let alone the constant...

Don’t think Moxey is that sort. He’s well respected for good reason. He’s a true professional .

To say he doesn’t like football is to overstate it I think. When I met him he clearly didn’t seem over engaged however. Remember Bristol Rovers lost their ground to intended development. I don’t know whether his father’s directorship was a factor in that or not.

Yes of course it’s possible. However some of the people posting on here seem to thinks it’s some form of divine right. That’s sheer delusion.

Can We Make the Play Offs?

I am sure you right about Rees and maybe Boden. However both were on loan and neither showed, as far as I know, any inclination to stay.

Torquay vs Wrexham 05/02/22

I am sure there are pretty strict rules about accurate recording of gate attendances!

It would be one way of getting out of the National League to be miss counting but I would imagine it would be in the wrong direction !

Can We Make the Play Offs?

It was always going to be a long shot this year. Take a look at the teams above us, the money they now have ( 80 % of them having said they were broke), and the calibre of the player in their squads. Many are actually equipped to be challenging in Division One let alone the National League. However ...

Radio Devon and the demise of the BBC

Only because it suits all their Amazon, Sky and BT mates. Pensioners are just used as an excuse. They are probably more BBC than the younger generation.
