Stefano one can dream. I think it's going all the way. Concord away today is a tough game and Slough at home is definitely better on paper for them. I agree. If only football was played on paper. I think Woking will get the wobbles and although we will not win every game up to the end of the season...

I think we will be 8 points clear at the top by the time we play away to Woking so I don't think the game will have the significance everybody thinks. Still, no good getting ahead of myself. One game at a time. A professional win away today while Woking draw at home will kick it off.........and alth...

Why make a post on a message board telling other people not to post on a message board? Just move along and ignore it if it bothers you that much (much like I'm trying to do with the numpties in the Osborne thread!) There was no such thing as a message board (not a technological one anyway) when se...

Gordon Banks played at Plainmoor

I can now recall this game having been reminded by a post on TFF in last couple of days but did not attend. It was August 1976 Jimmy Hill's South West XI v Saudi Arabia. This was Banks' 2nd appearance at Plainmoor and I was at the first - a friendly against Stoke City in 1969.

The Final 15 Games

Sorry stefano, but Benson did look a lot older and clearly on a downward spiral cos he joined Bournemouth and Exeter after he left us 😂😂😂. He did indeed and got promoted with Bournemouth from the league we were in whilst we went in the opposite direction. Did quite well for himself after as well an...

It can all be a conundrum I remember Ashley Barnes playing on loan with us - he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. Ok we were in Division 4 But if you had told me he would be bangng them in in the Premiership ( 3 levels higher)- I would have called the men in white coats to take you away to the...

Thanks ministander please keep us updated as to which away game you will be at next. I thought it would all probably be the fault of the police. If our team choked it wasn't because of the occasion it was from those bloody flares thrown by so called Torquay supporters. I expect though somebody has ...

Seating issues

Seems to happen everywhere really. I have been to the all seater San Siro about 30 times and only about 5 times of those has my numbered seat been unoccupied when I arrived. I have just sat nearby and have never been asked to move. Even on the big European nights it always seems to work. I suppose i...
