Harrop

Was just going to find out how to buy a season ticket. If this is true then forget it.

I doubt that posting on this forum will do anything. An email campaign to the club MIGHT make them think again although again I doubt that too. Doing nothing does not appear to be an option though

Torquay United Top 100 Matches

Three excellent games to finish with and all very different. I think if the Barnet game had been more recent it would have gone higher as that had everything you could possibly ask for in a game of football..... including the fear that I wouldn't get in to watch it. Southend was a rollercoaster of e...

Assets of Community Value: Plainmoor

I cannot help but agree with all the points raised above. If there was substance behind their claims / bid I would have expected to have heard a lot more about them in the Herald and other media. Raising these sort of points in a fans forum makes me question nearly everything they say... with no dis...

Torquay United Top 100 Matches

A real fun time. Just for once I felt that we were not the underdogs in this one with the hard work already done in the first leg. An expectant crowd with Torquay supporters also filling the away end and the few Scarborough supporters in front of the main stand. Any lingering doubts were soon quashe...

Torquay United Top 100 Matches

While respecting the opinions of others, this was my top choice for one reason and one reason only. That was the raw emotion that I personally felt in those last few minutes. After 80 or so minutes of utter desperation when things went from bad to worse, or so it seemed, the Bryn incident appeared ...

Have to echo Stefano's comments. Nothing to remember of worth bar the crazy last minute.

Torquay United Top 100 Matches

Another of mine and an away day with one of the most exciting ends to a game. Almost 1000 Torquay supporters were packed in the upper away supporters stand with a lot of Capital Gulls and exiles being present. Nearly all the action was just in front of us. QPR were all over us in the first half and ...

Both wrong. Its going to be Barnet for raw emotion. Before that though there are some really good games to come

Torquay United Top 100 Matches

The Leeds game was before my time but quite understand why it would feature highly !! The Northampton game took me back and reminded me of two things. A great start to the season with a professional performance which certainly surprised me and an example of sensible refereeing. The temperature that ...

Torquay United Top 100 Matches

The Lincoln City game was one of mine and perhaps one of the greatest turnarounds in a match I have ever seen. Vouchers for any potential 4th round game had been given out but that seemed somewhat premature when Lincoln proceeded to knock in three early first half goals whilst the Torquay players re...

Torquay United v Braintree Tue-8th

Points taken. As you say our current form is excellent BUT I would still say that IF it doesn't work out on Tuesday it would not be a disaster for the reason given. I look forward to being pleasantly surprised, honest ...... but being a Torquay supporter for well over 40 years does temper that hope ...

Torquay United v Braintree Tue-8th

I think that anything at all from this game should be treated as a bonus. Like everyone I have been delighted with the attitude of the players in recent games and we have managed to get the results which is brilliant. However, Braintree are also on a decent run and the table doesn't lie. This is goi...

Moving on to the Aldershot game that is another one I had forgotten. A good turnout that evening in a wet Hampshire and was wondering how we were going to fare in the conference and what we would find ground wise when we got there. The result spoke for itself as we dominated the game and I will alwa...

Not one I voted for but remember all to well Dave Caldwells overhead kick shaving the bar at 0-0 . Something out of nowhere which was typical of him. A great day out and Coventry knew they had been in a game.

Just look at the subs bench names.... a bit different now.

Like so many was there in that 3 sided ground. Had almost managed to forget Singh who I can still picture to this day charging around making the most of his moment
