Re: Torquay United v Portsmouth - 26/10/13

Played with a bit of purpose today, Chappells early goal lifted everyone and the players seemed to have a spring in their feet. Second half we were under the cosh for a long period thought the midfield needed another player in there as Pompey took control. You could see Chappell's and McCourts legs ...

Ricy was the reason we didn't lose 6-0 several quite brilliant saves. He could not have been blamed for any of the goals.

[quot :keepie: :keepie: :keepie: e="AustrianAndyGull"]Exactly, great fans. No commitment to the team and no commitment to making a difference.[/quote] Come on make the effort! Knilly's centre half and Brass is sure to shine alongside him. This game could be the turning point try and help. ...

Re: Portsmouth ask for more tickets

We've turned down a request from Pompey for more tickets(they've sold out their 1,500 allocation). Reckon we should have said "yes" and given them at least a few hundred more for Bristow's-doubt whether we will sell more than 2000 and even with season tickets might still struggle to get 3...

Re: Time to drop Manse?

See what ? We played a three man midfield Saturday, we played a three man midfield last night including peoples champion Nathan Craig and according to those at the game, our performance was worse that awful and we lost. Man City have one of the most respected European football coachs , they play 4-...

Re: Burton Albion v Torquay United - 22/10/13

I agree with Aust. Andygull against Mansfield, Chappell and Azeeze were taken off because they did know what they were doing and looked lost. There is not enough quality experience in the side..

Re: Time to drop Manse?

Harding/Mansell: Harding/McCourt: Lathrope/Mansell: Lathrope/Craig: Harding/Craig: etc etc etc - Whilst Alan Knill persists in playing a two-man midfield, whoever plays will struggle in most matches as most teams play three in midfield. As I've posted before, in my opinion Mansell's game, and proba...

Re: Time to drop Manse?

Manse is better in the three man midfield like king used to play with criag and lathrope this can be exchanged around with Harding. Yes manse should have the odd game off but he is still a leader though and in the 3 man midfield much better than in a two with Harding who has done nothing to help th...
