Torquay v AFC Fylde 11/04 (was pp on 3/3/18)
I accept that I know little about football, and less about refereeing. And yes, I chose to stay at home last night and watch City v Liverpool rather than traipse up to Plainmoor and be completely, entirely and totally depressed by yet another poor home performance. So I can’t comment on our game. I...

[highlight=yellow]'BUDGET'.... Is a fixed amount of money to be made available for a set period of time. So, if I were to have 'budgeted' myself to £100 a week for food & end up spending most of it by tuesdsy, how can I expect to eat in the best restaurants come Saturdays ? You can say what eve...

Don't disagree Goody ,I don't think Nicholson can be blamed for the current situation it is ultimately down to Owers with the time he's had to at least get us safe and has failed I just think we need stability for next season so need to see what he does next year if after a short spell he's still a...

So in peoples opinions, the signings made by Nicholson are to blame for the position we currently find ourselves in. the same players hailed at the start of the season by the majority of fans all as good signings. Players still being used by the current manager because apparently, Nicholson wasted t...

Just home. A well deserved win, the better team throughout. Although we almost conspired to gift Woking a couple more goals. Very proud of the team today, they did the right things (mostly) on a tricky pitch. Romain was first class, wish we’d had him all season. Well done to the players, well done ...

Good win today, Woking were poor, very poor, probably not the best performance by Torquay we’ve seen either but they did ok. I think if they had pressured the back four of Woking more they would probably would of got a few more goals in the first half, they looked nervy. Cracking strike from Evans f...

What I find amusing is that after a defeat there are usually a couple of pages of Owers is a useless tw*t by now but as the team won it's pretty quiet. Maybe everybody is out enjoying the barmy Easter Monday weather and have also left their mobile phones in the car? Yep. That'll be it. No, he’s sti...

Presumably then Merse, by your own reasoning, if Torquay do avoid relegation you will be the first to acknowledge that Nicholson is responsible!

Of course he won’t!!

The machines will need to be up to scratch as the rain has returned. Shame they weren't in place last Saturday. Hopefully they have been paired up front with a couple of pitch covers. Hoping to see a win by any method should the game be on. Yeah theres covers on the worst bits also, think it might ...

A couple of machines have been purchased to help remove the standing water, so with that and some more work today hopefully Chris will work his magic and get the pitch playable, its a must play, must-win game tomorrow, just to build the momentum if nothing else.
