Havant & Waterlooville V Torquay United Wed 20 Oct KO 19.45
As far as I can see this lunacy is mainly being conducted by Dawlish Matt on here and Merse on the other forum. Both have been yelling for a change for nearly a year now. They seem to relish adverse results because it suits their odd agendas. They have a very small orchestra of the usual wind instru...

Bromley v Torquay 9th Oct
We have to admit that football wise we down on a limb. A year ago Johnson was seen as a genius. He was brining success to a place that had seen little. Now suddenly he is past it for some. Players left for a higher salary and playing in a location where they would be seen more. They are entitled to d...

That’s what you have winding up for years Dawlish Matt. Suffice it to say you are in a very sad minority. You probably believe the previous 5 managers who achieved naff all were wondermen.

Don’t you think SBP that such a phone call doesn’t take place virtually weekly.!
So you think Gary isn’t capable?. Name me a manager prepared to come to the South West on middling money, with a middling playing budget who you would assess as more capable.?

Personally not there yet. Gary has clearly moved his feet and talking about being at halfway at Christmas ( and impliedly looking to have a nibble at a promotion play off place from there ) . I am not sure I would put a stack of money on that but I wouldn’t be writing it off either

Sure won’t be easy. The league genius who has had the team on the road for most the week deserves special mention as well.

Torquay United v Wealdstone Sat 2 October KO 3pm
When I was a kid ( a fair while back!) I remember a penalty where the guy slipped when taking it and it ended much closer to the corner flag than the goal. Anyway we won 5-0 this afternoon- it was hardly life changing.

I agree with Brucie in so far as there is obviously big money available and their manager will be adjudged the fool if Chesterfield start to stumble.

I thought Chesterfield were more than a little arrogant in their antics. Got Johnson booked, continually in the referees ear throughout, making a meal of the ball wiping etc , playing to their crowd, all those antics at the end. They will win nothing if they play through games like that. It all cont...

Let’s be fair though. We had a very short break and we lost players offered contracts at faster rate than certainly I can remember. Yes we need a fair bit still but let’s enjoy getting a point at a place not too many others will do. You heard what the commentator said about over achieving last year....

Papers over the cracks… ! I don’t know what some fans want. Do you really think that putting a side together is that simple. Compare the budgets of the two sides and get real.

Torquay United v Southend United Sat 18 Sept KO 3pm
It’s one thing carping away Brucie, another actually doing anything vaguely positive. So we have two older aged forwards who aren’t scoring at the moment. And some forwards we had last year who are. Is that enough to sack a manager who overall has been one of our more successful ones?. If so, apart ...

You would be a very wise dog if you were able to answer that one however I personally think they are both doing it to put up Brucie’s blood pressure.
