Highway to Hele fanzine: Issue 10 out now, back issues 50p
Hi everyone, A few updates on Highway to Hele fanzine. 1) Issue 10 is out now, featuring an interview with Wayne Carlisle and a really fascinating Q&A session with the Ladies team (on the TULFC setup and the wider world of women's football). Also includes the results of our end of season awards....

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far. We're so close to £300, could just do with another little push to kick on into the final third.

In other news, we're all off to New Jersey it seems.

If an American tried to do this thing would it work? When I clicked through to the site it was (unsurprisingly) all set up for your British £ things rather than American $ things. I would guess so. It probably just converts? I'm not sure to be honest and I can't find anything in the settings that I...

Sorry to double post. A quick update:
We have just smashed the £100 barrier, leaving us with £350 to go.
Please consider chucking a fiver in, it all helps and it'll take less time than it takes to make a cup of tea.

Player sponsorship - crowdfunding
This year, we are trying to raise funds to sponsor a player at both Torquay United FC and Torquay United Ladies FC. This is especially important for a club like ours as the money will go straight towards manager Kevin Nicholson's playing budget in the case of the Men's team, and will cover the costs...

Harrop
Despite Nicholson proving the doubters wrong it will soon be confirmed that Harrop will take over as Manager. His close links to the new owner make his deluded ambitions a serious reality. If we don't let our thoughts on that become loud and clear we could be in trouble. He even has a backup plan t...

Highway to Hele - Issue 8
I know it's all a bit doom and gloom around here at the moment, but on a lighter note I wanted to let you all know that Issue 8 of the TUFC fanzine 'Highway to Hele' is out now. MacDonald to Cheltenham?
That'd be a bummer.
It IS going g to happen at some point though. He's a decent young player and we aren't in a position to convince players like that to stay even if we did have the funds.

Butler had a good first half, misses out on a spot due to poor second half. Marsh worked hard. Angus ok. Bot a bad performance overall to be honest, shame about the result.

Ajala
But i guess Ajala is definately an improvment on murombedzi. However Ajala was more effective cutting in from the left. So will butler play left back and nicho drop himself? Butler and Ajala would certainly be a decent pair for this level. The only thing is Butler has proved he can be an attacking ...

Hargreaves....Hindsight
I think he would have come good. We can all see his hands were not just tied, but were also behind his back or possibly severed altogether. Metaphorically speaking. I think he would have come good as a manager. It wouldn't have been pretty for a season or two but then, we're hardly pretty now either...
