Chester FC v Torquay United

I'm not going to get involved in the "Nicho out" stuff but having watched today's game, he is an absolute liability on the pitch. We must have had the slowest left hand side of any "professional" football team in history today, with Briscoe in front of him. Chester had it so easy...

MOTM - Chester

Butler did really well first half. Composed on the ball, some good touches and actually tried to pass it on the floor to someone in yellow.

No one else.

I didn't really watch the second half.

Chester Positive Thread

Sometimes teams up against it can pull together and achieve remarkable things.

I'll be there tomorrow to cheer us on to our second win in a row (I hope!).

Chester FC v Torquay United

I'll be one of those 175 Scott but I only think we'll win 1-0! Come on you yellows, I'd like to see you win at least once this season! (I missed the Macclesfield game and couldn't make it to Halifax or Southport!) We absolutely battered Chester at their place last season and I'm confident we can do ...

Torquay United v Wrexham- (NOW Dec 5th)

If we can avoid conceding early, I'm hopeful of getting another point.

Braintree v Torquay United

Given the last couple of results, I'm really pleased with a point but even more pleased with the clean sheet.

A platform for us to build on next week.

James Hurst suspended by club

The lack of official communication is shocking. If I hadn't read the account given on this forum, all I would know is the club have suspended and subsequently loaned out our best player to one of our competitors because of an "alleged" incident last Saturday. A statement was promised early...

New Signing: Andre Wright

I'm not one for rumor mongering but, when Hurst got subbed on Saturday and we all applauded him off, he waved to us rather than clapped. I thought it slightly odd at the time. Fingers crossed it wasn't a "goodbye" wave.

MOTM - Altrincham

Marsh
Smith
Richards
Angus
Butler

Added in 1 minute 15 seconds:
1st half Marsh, 2nd half I'd give it to Smith.

Altrincham v Torquay United

Well, that was certainly a game of 2 halves. First half we were pretty good. Played some nice football, looked confident on the ball, passed it to feet (Heslop aside who was garbage) and Marsh looked a real threat. Alty barely got in our half and looked a really poor side. 1-0 was not a reflection o...
