Re: Battle of the Seasiders - Match Thread
33% possession according to the BBC. That's abysmal. Get O'Kane on alongside Oastler and Gritts on for Kee if the HT teamtalk doesn't have an effect quickly.

Re: Battle of the Seasiders - Match Thread
Chances for Senda, Wroe, Kee and Macklin. Hopefully they take them - think the team needed a bit of a shake up and it's good to see 4-4-2 at home.

Re: Jamie Mackie gives a shout out for Bucks
I met Jamie Mackie at Sparkford service station on the A303 in September 08 when we had a disastrous start to our BSP season and he was so complimentary of Buckle then too, insisting if we stuck with him it would come good. He was right. I also told him how he had ruined my boxing day the year before!

Re: Gillingham vs Torquay Match Thread
Happy with the team. Lots of pace up front, DT thinks Eunan is playing on the left which I've been advocating for and Oastler coming in to CM. I'll go for a 2-1 win.

Re: Branston has had it. (in my opinion)
The one thing that did worry me with Branston was the complacency that seemed to have set in on Saturday. Obviously the penalty which was bordering on harrassment in the area - 100% avoidable. The second goal Guy made absolutely no attempt to cover the gaping space down the middle, and then no attem...

Re: Nicky Wroe on his way!??
I don't personally think we need a striker anyway. Billy Kee hasn't been given a proper chance yet, and if he's overlooked for much longer we will be entering Matt Green teritory. Gritts hasn't set the world alight either, but are we ready to discard him again already? And Zebs is available to play...

I'm sure if you asked Crewe fans you'd get a different answer.Richinns wrote:Is Tom Pope the answer to our problems though????
Sounds like the Rotherham fans would be glad to be shot of him.

Re: Crewe vs Torquay Match Thread
Wroe deserves to be dropped and Eunan deserves a chance in midfield with two strikers in front of him. Billy to score today! COYY

Re: Crewe vs Torquay Match Thread
5-1? Have people forgotten our performance of just four days ago? If it wasn't for a rare individual error, we would have won the game deservedly 1-0. Yes Crewe are in decent form, but so were Shrewsbury. I think the result last night wasn't that bad considering arguably our two best players, Branst...
