James Gray Joins York on Permanent Contract

Who is our 'top scorer' at present ? I guess it must be Jamie Reid. I thought there would be a list of scorers on the official TUFC site, but no. What a naff site it is now that it has been 'improved'. If you click on Results and Fixtures, all you get is forthcoming fixtures - no results ! Rubbish !

Very confused - what is GI's game?

So merse in effect the situation is almost the same. I can't see what positive outcome we can have , if your pro plainmoor that is. Perhaps if we had the made the 3rd round fa cup away to man Utd or sold a player for 250000 upwards I wonder gi would then consider it a bad job and and least walk awa...

Torquay v Hartlepool 28/10/17

It does not matter who signed who, it's who can get the side to play better and win, hopefully we are going in the right direction now. True, Arcadia - but it is rather ironic that players brought in when Robbie Herrara was in temporary charge are 'doing the business' rather than the four brought i...

On the plus side, Owers has brought in some useful players - Dowling, Dorrell, Evans & Efete. Dowling, Dorel and Efete were all brought in before Owers took over, when Herrera was in charge. Oh dear - I'm losing touch with the time-scale of all the changes. So ...... of those four, only Callum Evan...

No it wasn't it was a different Ken Brown. I know the son of the one you are referring to (he was my son's Academy Manager at Dagenham) and he told me his father is now living in an old people's home in Norwich suffering from dementia at the age of 83. Arrgh ..... a ringer !! Everyone where I was s...

Torquay v Hartlepool 28/10/17

Those of us at the game could see clearly where the weaknesses lie and importantly the Head Coach saw them too. The big question is what can he do to put them right? As well as veiled criticisms supposedly aimed at two players, I hope the Head Coach also noticed how Callum Evans and Mc Quoid 'disap...

Tomogull - he didn't name the players but said that he was fed of seeing goals coming from the same position (seemed directly aimed at Higgins to me) and also said if players didn't take their chance when called upon he would look elsewehere (guess that was aimed at Keating) Thanks for putting me r...

Agree - very good post from Arry. However, it's fine to quote stats but you need to dig behind them a bit. The run of fixtures since Gary Owers was appointed include Macclesfield, Dagenham & R, Dover, Aldershot (cup) and Hartlepool. I know it's a topsy-turvy league this season, but apart from Hartle...

I always agree with brucie, Mr. gloster! But why do some people call him Terry? p.s. tomogull: Whitby Town are at home today in the 1st qualifying round of the FA Trophy (versus Marine). Our recent cup history is worse than United's. Oh dear, Wivel - you were spot on with that prediction! You will ...

Ebbsfleet United v Torquay united 24/10/17

That was a very good win. Before last night, Ebbsfleet had only lost twice - less than any other team in the league. They have drawn nine games so they are obviously a difficult team to break down. Well done Gary, Martin and the team. It doesn't matter that other teams around us also won. We have c...

Just like you still seem to be under the impression Nico was a good manager  ;-)
Ha, Brucie - it was you who coined the immortal and very appropriate phrase that (quote) 'Nicho was having to manage with one arm tied behind his back' - remember ?? ;-)

However, since the re-instatement of one particular self-opinionated individual, I feel the Forum has degenerated into the Nasty Forum. It has put me off logging in as often as I used to an...
