Can we raise £400,000. Yes or No?
Without a doubt the first £30/40k should be used to employ a scout. Most small Clubs sell on one player every year to assist with making ends meat.
Of course we lost John James years ago - that was a disaster

If the Chairman has said what is being reported on here about forum users it shows areal lack of class. Also whoever takes over MUST be guided by a football person/scout - there simply has to be somebody to advise them on football issues else the same mistakes will keep returning. If Nicho stays the...

Matt
Even Torbay Council film their meetings now. Perhaps not the ones where they discuss Plainmoor with some "property developers"

And assuming we haven't repaid this or any other amount by January does the Club become GI property as suggested previously on the forum?? Perhaps their is no chance and the Board are turning to TUST as a last resort and I don't mean that negatively to TUST, just that previously the board did not ta...

If we are waiting to hold it after a couple of wins that could be a while.
Best suggestion I can offer is - betting shop on Saturday - back Torquay to be winning at half time and losing at the end - normally about 22/1

Lots of what has been said in this thread is excellent reading from proper fans with the Club at heart. However why can some see that a new ground is 100% not the answer. To say that because the Willows is easier to get to than Plainmoor, attendances will rise or a fastfood joint or a multiplex cine...

The fans forums were attended by fans who only wanted to shout and be heard or stand by the current manager/board no matter what. I mentioned on a previous thread that rather than have an open forum perhaps the Club would invite a select 10 or 20. This might include the TUST, the Manager, a couple o...

There is a Full Council meeting tomorrow night in Brixham which will be discussing Sports Ground leases and Council assets. I am sure it will be discussed there.
