Torquay United v Welling United
Absolutely has to be 3 points. Shame but we're in a position now where we can't make any mistakes, we are still a mile off safety and to have any chance winning 1 losing 2 isn't going to do anymore we have to go on championship winning form for at least a month-6 weeks. Which is why we are still cer...

Message from Nico...
Yeah think you're right Phil, the TUST seem to have a massive opinion of their own importance considering they are about 100 strong. Just how they come across in anything I've read or heard. Cynical part of me is wondering would this and the email saying something similar had come out if we'd lost 1...

2-0 Loss but at least we're in the Trophy and can pat ourselves on the back next year for a good run to the semi Finals in that when we're 2 down at Concord Rangers.

When have we ever got near 6000 in the last 15 years???! Plenty big enough for Southern League Premier division football in 2 years time.

Squad management
If you include Finch we can literally just name a full 'squad' for Saturday.

In answer to the question of why nearly all Cox signings have left then yes it does tell us a lot. It tells me that they think the club is now a joke after refusing to pay the bloke they signed for and then appointed an over the hill and frankly shite left back to manage them. To be honest it's not...

We currently have 7 (8 including Luke young) who were with us on the opening day, kind of sums up how precarious the situation is. Ran like a proper part time club, this is the sort of stuff that happens at southern league level often.

Love this progression being made stuff and it's 3 straight league defeats and 1 win in 12. Don't care about the trophy we won't win it and it matters precisely zero for our season.
But still at least progress is being made, at this progressive rate we should be relegated by late Feb/early March.

The board could have done nothing else. He handed in a transfer request. They said they tried hard enough to persuade him, but he still wanted to go. If they had then gone and rejected his request anyway, then his head wouldn't be in the game anyway. Each player has to be 100% focused on each game ...

thought he signed 2 years?
Seems as though it was a one year deal, still the prospect of playing for a team in the playoffs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> relegation certs

Nail on head CP, Dover are 5th he doesn't want to be playing Concord Rangers next year and is probably fed up looking around at all the woefully inept players we have. Once we were offered any kind of fee can't see us playing hard ball so game over. Shame as he was one of the few players we do have ...

As suspected someone with a slight bit of talent doesn't want to play in Conference south.

Getting rid of every big earner before we're relegated. If we are still going next year our already minuscule budget needs slashing even more so no surprise. Likes of Angus, Young, Butler will all go as well.
