No it wasn't harsh - it was spot on !! What exactly is wrong with him? When he was out injured, we were told it would be for two or three weeks. It must be two or three months. He's become this season's Sicknote. Not that I have any wish to see him back in action any time soon .......

Rene Howe

I don't give a **** about Rene, I don't know him, so can't say whether he's a nice bloke or not, but the fact remains that he's a dreadful, dreadful footballer who, would you believe it, has a worse record this year than Karl Hawley. Not really sure how many clubs he'll have to dive at before peopl...

Predicted first starting 11 for Hargreaves

If he goes with Mansell and Nico at full backs then I will actually give up going. Personally I would go along the lines of Harrop's team last week. I would make two changes - Cruise for Nicholson and Mozika for Lathrope - just think Mozika's got a bit more to his game. I actually think that Hawley...

I will do my very, very best but at my age, the name Harry Mouzourus is not the easiest to remember ........ In fact, 'there's only one Harry Mouzourus' doesn't easily roll off the tongue :clown:

I think our goals against record this season is deceiving. We allow our opponents precious few chances at our goal, yet we score with startlingly few of the many chances we create. The Morecambe game was typical, we had 20 chances and scored one goal. Morecambe had one chance and scored one goal. E...

The key to that game will be nullifying Smith (who, but for the sake of about 2 hours would be wearing yellow) and, if he plays, Midson. I can see a high scoring affair, perhaps 2-2. Matt. As we've rarely managed to score more than one goal in any match this season, I suppose 2 - 2 would be a 'high...

Can Hargreaves and hodges keep us up this season

CAN they keep us up ? Yes - of course. WILL they keep us up? Ah - that's a different question !! I believe they will. In my opinion, the players we have are better than next-to-bottom in the table and with a bit of passion and motivation (as shown last Saturday) we can start moving in the right dire...

Don't agree with the first part. He's incredibly popular, and if he takes us down the blame would be given to his predecessor. And I'm not sure what you'd expect his previous employers to say if asked? 'Yeah, we're pretty glad to see the back of his if I'm honest...?' Fonda - if we go down (and of ...

I wasn't his best fan but i'll always credit people where it's due and he did work hard on his game, did improve and did give us 5 odd years of service and a few memorable moments and I thank him and wish him all the best in whatever he chooses to do. Interesting posting, Andy ...... but I wouldn't...

Unwarranted eh? Depends on who you listen to I guess. See if you still feel it's unwarranted at the end of the season. Yes - time will tell of course. But you know what they say, Dave ..... put up of shut up ! I wouldn't want to be a member of the Board of a Div 2 club like Torquay for all the prov...

This is a brave decision by the Board and after some of the unwarranted 'stick' on here last week, let's give the Board a bit of credit for moving quickly to fill the post. Personally, I would have preferred someone with managerial experience in view of our perilous position but I have no quarrel wi...

Torquay United v Morecambe - 4/1/14

I've nothing to add - it's all been said ! By far the most entertaining game of the season played on a difficult surface. The lack of goals is a worry, though - a second goal today would have killed the game off.
