Mr Owers steps down

I havnt a clue who might be a success as manager of TUFC. But for me it must be someone who will command the respect of the contracted players at the club now. Someone who walks into the dressing room and the players immediately respect him and want to do well for him. These things are sometimes har...

Gary Owers Steps Down

I am one of CO's strongest critics. BUT that statement was something I didn't expect to be honest. Good luck to GO in the future and hopefully CO will appoint someone who can re-invigorate our season. Does seem that CO does want promotion then :) Which I doubted. A very good decision and it now does...

Torquay United v Chippenham Town 08/09/18

Of course he's not going to tell you that he's NOT trying everything he can to turn things around is he? With all due respect to you Nick and i don't wish to offend you but part of the problem at Torquay is some fans simply being too nice and trusting for too long whilst people responsible for the ...

Torquay United v Chippenham Town 08/09/18

You’ve got the wrong end of the stick sgf. Hit Osborne where it hurts, boycotting is the only way to bring about change. Cash is king to Osborne , if isnt coming through the turnstiles changes will have to be made. Unfortunately with 1400 ish fans turning up every home game, even when the product i...

Torquay United v Chippenham Town 08/09/18

Do you honestly believe that 1,400 coming through the turnstiles is making ends meet? No but with the loans each year, and I stress "loans" it probably does. If the attendance drops the loans increase, which means more pressure as almost certainly no one will pay million plus for a confer...

Perhaps the penny is actually beginning to drop with some on here.

TUST should be making plans for AFC Torquay I will be contacting them as a member.

Those still going should now boycott.

Nothing is guaranteed, but for God sake lets do something. This is just painful!

Osborne meeting with Kevin Foster MP and Cllr

Osborne does not build stadiums so if he gets the freehold TUFC will cease to exist in any recognisable form. He simply has to be stopped. Without the freehold he will have no use for the club. Either he puts it into administration, we are relegated three leagues but reform as an AFC, or he is pers...

Osborne meeting with Kevin Foster MP and Cllr

That's almost exactly as I see it. I'm not sure why any of us on here given what we know of his history even entertain the notion of a new stadium. We're either staying in our fit for purpose stadium until he pulls the plug or he'll get his hands on it and do what he always does, string the fans al...

Osborne meeting with Kevin Foster MP and Cllr

There are already excellent artificial pitches in the local schools. The restriction of use of Plainmoor would involve Plainmoor becoming Westlands sporting area which would prob include an artificial pitch and sale of Quinta for housing. Given Plymouths attempts at using Home Park for concerts and...

Osborne meeting with Kevin Foster MP and Cllr

I would start and say that no one can for see the future, so its just guess work. But my chosen option is 3b - Cannot guarantee anything but for me boycotting several months ago MIGHT and I say might have started the process towards that goal. Will that happen no, because as far as I can see most (e...

Torquay United v Hemel Hempstead Town, Saturday 1st September 2018

Would like to say well done for the result. Wasn't there and reading the posts it could quite easily have been the other way around. The worry is that it was seemingly inspired by 2 loanees. " P.S. I am also going to secretly raise a glass to Clarke Osborne for his sheer audacity of fobbing us ...

TIME FOR ACTION BUT IT MUST BE LAWFUL.

There will be no action at all, its TUFC.

Maybe we should hang the guy who through the coffee. So for some of you its life imprisonment for chucking coffee at some one, ridiculous.

Whoever it was should apologise and lets move on for f sake.

Go G.O!!

You are always going to get stick as a football manager, ah unless you manage TUFC of course. GO is the worst manager we have ever had, that's a fact. Unless you have been on the moon, we are at the lowest tier of football this club has been AND we cannot still score. GO was part of the relegation t...
