Buckle's 8th signing - already
Some Northern irish bloke called Michael Smith The speed with which he is assembling a squad there confirms that surely he was team-building in his for Bristol Rovers while TUFC were paying his wages. I wonder how many of those players could have been appearing in yellow next season? But the signing...

Re: Zebs
http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/97638-zebs-and-vergo/ A Rovers fan on there seems to think it is a done deal and they've signed him, of course you always have to take BR fans with a pinch of salt but according to this one it will appear on their official site later. Very disappointed if...

Re: Your worst ever XI
I remember the Mansfield game, Priso was particularly inept, but I was also at the terrible Barnsley game and we were so depleted that our centre back partnership that day was Matt Hockley and Brian mcglinchey. Anthony Pulis was subbed after about 30 minutes, and I'll never understand how he stayed...

Re: Martin Ling
if you look through the threads on Martin Ling I have shared my thoughts on him which are positive also on the board member thread and as I have mentioned before he has an extensive knowledge of english and scottish football if I remeber rightly he set up hibernians scouting network so he is a very...

Re: Martin Ling's first interview
I have watched both interviews and I would agree that he does not do TV as well as Buckle but would also agree that Ling seems 100 times more genuine and honest than Buckle. If anything he seemed a little awkward and shy in front of the camera and I wonder how he will be with a bunch of Paul Buckle'...

Re: Martin Ling's first interview
Would have been nice of Spotlight to have spent a bit longer on our new manager but know...Romain Larrieu has a testimonial so lets spend most of the time talking about that. Spotlight need to realise now that Plymouth are just a League 2 club, the same as us.

Re: Martin Ling
Wonder if the press conference is still going on?? Or was Ling that bad the website editor fell asleep at his laptop? There was a little clip of it on Westcountry News. Did not show much more than about 30 seconds. Ling said that he 'ticked all the boxes' of TUFC directors. He seemed almost apologe...

Re: Martin Ling
So, at the start of last season you really thought that we would be in the play offs at the end of it? Actually, a lot of people did. We were tipped by many to be the 'dark horses' of the division because the way we ended the season before, when we had all of those clean sheets and beat Rochdale 5-...

Re: Martin Ling
Hector I am assuming you do actually have a brain. If this is the case use it to think before you post such a load of ill considered twaddle He was interviewed today. Did the board do their research? It is a valid point. It is not ill considered. In fact quite the opposite. It is considering Ling's...

Re: whats is the matter with us
This to me is acually got nothing to do with his sucsess at Orient, and yes his failure at Cambridge, whats got to me is the fact the majoirty of fans on both sites seemed to have picked up on his failure at Cambridge, and using that as a stick to beat the club and Ling before he has even started life...
