Re: MOTM - Stevenage

However if you pay attention you will see that I am continuing my one man protest about having 5 MOMs.. :) You're not choosing 5 though and neither is anyone else, it's just a criteria for selecting the best one player over a season. I struggled to find a fifth player worthy of naming from yesterda...

MOTM - Stevenage

As Gulliball is offline for a week he's asked me to create this thread for yesterdays game.

My choice is:

1 - Branston
2 - O'Kane
3 - Ellis
4 - Zebroski
5 - Mansell

Re: Stevenage vs Torquay - 18th September

I really despair sometimes, how anyone could say that Zebs offered nothing was clearly not watching him in my opinion. He was consistently our outlet and went past his man on plenty of occasions, even when faced with two defenders he held the ball up well and brought others into the game, especially...

Re: Attendances

Yellow - No we are not saying attendance is a result of varied influences, what we are saying is attendance is about the number of people we get into the ground. What they learn at school, whether it be Geography, Economics or Demographics (I think we called that Technical Drawing in my day) doesn'...

Re: Stevenage meet up

Thanks for that update mate, much appreciated.

Always had a good time in your social club and met some very decent fans in there so would be nice to do so again.

Re: Stevenage meet up

We always used to meet up in their own clubhouse prior to the game but a few of their fans told me on the last visit that they would be making it home fans only from last season on. Not sure if that's what they've done, maybe one of them will be registering in time for the match and can enlighten us.

Re: Attendances

If you stand on the Pop. side it will become clear immediately what the problem is: the people there are either under 18 or over 60 - there's hardly anything in between. Whether this is true in other areas of the ground, I can't say, never (in 47 years of going to Plainmoor) have i ever visited ano...

Re: Torquayfans.com Player of the season award

I think we can do better than this. How about a trophy, bought by our members on an annual basis, presented by a democratically voted "Poster of the Year"? Joe can still do his presentation personally if he wishes and as it's an original idea the TFF can't moan at us for "pinching&quo...
