Cornish, Greeks and that other Green team.
Nice to see Yeovil back where they belong and whilst I expect the Cornish Administration cheats to wriggle out of relegation, it would be great to see the “Comatosed Giants” relegated back to their natural level.

Torquay United v Oxford City 26/1/19
Lovely to see us score so many and yet it felt as though we hardly had to break a sweat to win by so many. We missed so many chances as well, it could have easily been 11.

Great manager and great times under Cyril Knowles. Does anyone remember the Torquay United fanzine at the time which had an advert for the "Scarborough boot" in? There was a fanzine called ‘Mission Impossible’ around Cyril’s time. I think Tony Jordan was behind it, so it may have been tha...

Torquay united V Winchester city 20/10/18
I think the famous, portly striker, Carl Airey has the record for scoring in the most consecutive games (around 89/90).

Delighted for Jamie Reid. Perhaps those **** who complained that he didn’t come over and clap them, simply so they could then heap abuse on him, can crawl back under their stones now. Interesting that both our visits to Eastbourne Borough have resulted in a scoreline of 4-2, and thanks to Jamie Reid...

Why on earth couldn't we afford him? - its laughable to assume that some of these players have brilliant jobs and that's the reason that they don't turn pro. It was the same with Cody Cooke - we couldn't afford him because he had such a brilliant job, but he soon buggered off to Scotland to pursue ...

Thanks - I wonder if they will find there way back to Truro now that their manager has moved in that direction.

Oh no not another message saying we should sign LL - I have seen him play, he isn't anywhere near good enough for us. That's why he is playing where he is. You'll want Sean Finch back next. I’d agree with you about Finch but I think LL is a different proposition and worth looking at. He is playing ...

Mr Owers steps down
I really hope the club is not lazy like the Herald Express and considers former players or managers or those who manage minor clubs locally. There are managers out there who we haven’t thought of, who would be more suitable. The likes of Mark Collier, Bobby Wilkinson would be better choices than the...

FA Cup
I was in Lymington today with my wife having a nice family day out, as only an hour from me. Can't believe I'll be returning in 11 days time. This is just up the road from Bashley, who we played a few years back in FA Cup, I guess must be nearly twenty year ago now - this was when we could win cup ...
