Hemel not safe yet either.
They play Taunton last game. If they don’t beat Slough Saturday loser of that could go down.
Taunton & Dartford look the most likely to go.

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Truro 0 Eastbourne 0
Good result for us I think as it keeps both teams in the mix. Particularly good that Eastbourne didn’t win as they stay behind us with three games left.

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Better you channel your thoughts on what WE can achieve and not others, which we can not influence. A point at Bath would put us on 49, meaning that Taunton would need to get a result from Slough or we would be seven points ahead of them with a better GD. True. But I like to know what we need (may ...

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

A couple of thoughts: Slough, who have nothing to play for, have a big role in deciding relegation. If Hemel beat Slough on Saturday then they are pretty much safe but if Hemel lose or draw their final game at Taunton could be a decider for both. If Taunton beat or draw with Slough tomorrow and both...

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm

A point would be a good result but it's not 'must win'.
Taunton and / or Havant however could be.
Hoping for a good following although it won't match the numbers we had there last time.

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Why be concerned about Taunton?...They are six points behind us with a worse goal difference, with two games in hand - I would be surprised if they overtook us. The current bottom four, look like the teams for the drop; Dartford Taunton Havant & Waterlooville Dover Because if they beat us it wi...

Updated after Tuesday 9th April. Hemel 44 49 -15 Torquay 43 48 -8 Truro 40 47 -9 Eastbourne 42 44 -25 Dartford 44 43 -18 Taunton 41 42 -21 Havant 43 36 -34 Dover 43 27 -33 Dartford can only get 49 points and to do that would need to win at Yeovil. We need one point max to finish above them. Taunton ...

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Taunton drew 0.0 at Braintree.
Didn't expect them to get anything there, so a worry both in terms of the extra point and their form.

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Standup How many points do you think we need to survive? Do think 49 will be enough? (One more draw) Will 51 for sure be enough? (One more win) We probably have enough points to stay above Dartford but one more point should ensure that. Taunton hard to say as they have so many games but if we draw ...

Truro v Torquay to be played at Meadow Park, Gloucester

This isn't quite must win, in that defeat won't mean we're relegated. Likewise Bath.
Taunton & Havant may well be 'must win'.

I think it's going to be Dartford plus the loser of Taunton v Torquay to go down.

Does anyone know how Truro are financed?
They seem to have survived having to pay to rent grounds for home games all season, extra travel and with very little income from tiny crowds.

Unfortunately they play Eastbourne two days after us and Dartford last game of the season at the end of this ridiculous run of fixtures.
