Re: Burton Albion v Torquay United - 22/10/13

Very good posts Bruce and AustrianAndyGull. It was there to see several games ago Unfortunately. The board have a hard decision basically. Pay up Knills contract or have a very serious relegation fight. We can all see he does not have a clue. Some will say "give him more time", "we ha...

Re: Paul McCallum

The real problem is we have only 1 real quality player and he is injured. Why people keep saying Harding will be returning soon as that is some kind of good news. We have 1 good player, probably 2 half decent players and the rest conference or below std. Knills decision making is poor, he had all su...

Re: Wycombe Wanderers v Torquay United - 12/10/13

Just got in I dont really agree with the previous posters who were there unfortunately. Both teams first touch and passing accuracy was poor, which actually did make it entertaining. But we are also light weight and have no tough tackler ( Hargreaves ) in mid field or tough centre back ( Robertson, ...

Re: Wycombe Wanderers v Torquay United - 12/10/13

Last minute decision to go to this one as its near Basingstoke.

Team trying very hard.

But little quality from either side.

Re: Discord in the squad?

Absolutely agree. If that has happened and I have no evidence myself, then it needs to get sorted now, this week, or it will only get worse.

Re: Torquay United v York City - 5/10/13

Why shouldn't anyone say "I told you so". If we win the next game 2-0 or whatever watch the rose tinters start saying some rubbish like "let's push on for a play off place". It was plainly obvious from the start that our attack and central midfield is dire and lacks any creativit...

Re: Rochdale v Torquay United - 14/9/13

As stated in previous posts after previous games our forwards are dread full. Conference standard at best so shouldn't be surprised they don't score. These 2 could go down as near our worst ever forward line if things don't take a change very soon.

Fleetwood Town v Torquay United - 7/9/13

I didn't go to the match and thought I would wait to read some posts from those who did before commenting. I was thinking what to write and then read Brucies post, you took the words out of my mouth. I have posted on these sites since the early days of Mervo and I'm no doom and gloom merchant by the...

Re: Torquay United v Hartlepool United - 31/8/13

Awful performance, waste of £21 and a waste of my time on a lovely sunny day. Hartlepool were awful also and both these teams could easily be relegation candidates

I was bored stiff, and couldnt wait for the game to end.

There was very little quality on show and I agree Hartlepool's attack was dire.

Re: Could get interesting .....

I just can't see how the board could have done anything else. The fact that the illness has been kept secret, very odd. I was I'll recently and off work for several weeks and I felt that because my colleagues were put under more pressure due to my absence I should tell them what was wrong. The only ...

Is this fact that they were not being paid or just rumour. I find it hard to believe to be honest.

Re: Joke police

Its always been the case for the last 35 years that I have been going to watch TUFC that the easy option is to eject home supporters. That's not to say they might deserve it but some balance would be nice, as in this case it was away supporters in home areas. If it was an equivalent size of TUFC sup...
