Torbay Council
Just found out that Torquay United are due to be discussed at Overview and Scrutiny meeting at the Town Hall tomorrow night.
I understand that it is currently number 9 on the agenda.
Public can attend but not speak.

Torquay United v Guiseley
At least Clark Osborne will be happy = he said in his interview that we needed to move from Plainmoor because of parking issues and using the stadium 3 or 4 days per week. We don't use it at all now and there will be plenty of available parking next home game as about 800 will be there.

I cannot believe what ive just seen on that interview, stage-managed bullshit, no searching questions. Spoke more about opening a swanky new ground with the associated "income streams", an academy that cannot possibly get off the ground and GI's and Geoff Harrops expertise. Give me a f...i...

Glad he has time to poster this rubbish. Perhaps the players should still be in the dressing room with him reading the riot act or seeking a meet with the owners..........that's if they were bothered enough to attend.

GI - No news
Doesn't it sum GI and TUFC up - No news of signings, five year plan, fans forum - and the Herald are left to report on Angus.
Are these owners ever going to show their hand ?

Face from the past
Hector is definitely the right person to ask about TUFC facts from the eighties onwards. The all blue kit was reminiscent of Chelsea/Dave Webb and I remember one Christmas or just before going to Leyton Orient for an FA CUp tie and we only had the bare 11 which included a front line of Webb and one ...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?
Be aware that Gordon Oliver has been stripped of most of his power. Nearly every major decision goes to Full Council now where as before The Mayor could decide something on his own. Also remember that there are divides in the Council, notably 1. The Lib-dems and independents 2. The conservatives who...

Torquay lost 8-4 to Wallsall in a Cup replay I seem to remember. It was 4-4 at full-time and Ian Hathaway hit both posts in the 95th minute which would have sent us through.

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?
Steve Parrock, Kevin Mowatt and Fran Hughes are from Torbay Development Agency. I have been dealing with them for 3 years on another project (sports ground) which has not moved forward at all despite promises.

Gaming International have taken our club hostage
Be aware that the Mayor has had a lot of his powers withdrawn - decisions like this would need to go through Full Council. The angle should be that the Mayor or the Council would not only be selling out the Football Club and its fans but effectively shearing the local businesses of millions that com...

I don't suppose the Vanarama Conference have heard of fit and proper persons/due dillegence. Also in a previous statement it was mentioned the GI wanted to put £500k into the Club........look where £300k that this board put in has got us. The investment would need to run into millions before we corr...
