Torquay v Eastleigh 21.3.17
Merse, I agree. But if the players are so wound up that they can't play freely, that's not a good thing. I obviously have no idea if Verma is wound up or not - that was just my impression when I saw him, which was only for 5-10secs or so. For all I know he could just have been weighing up what to ha...

Torquay v Eastleigh 21.3.17
I was out for a run just now and went past Verma, in Victoria Park in Paignton. He was on his own, walking very slowly, and looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Should Nicholson be sacked
northlondon, I agree with you about GI not giving him the players. Will GI give any manager the players they want though? Personally, I don't think so. Yes, Nicho has made mistakes, but with the current squad I don't know if anyone could do better. Barring a couple of exceptions, I just don't think ...

Should Nicholson be sacked
If GI allowed 3-4 serious players to come in, do people think Nicho would then be up to the job? Personally, I do. Which is why I don't think he should be sacked.

It was purely an observation which I felt worth sharing, I have never seen him there before, I guess he could have been on holiday but I doubt it as he wasn't wearing shorts and sandles. He also left half way through the second half Leaving his programme complete with notes under his seat, which I ...

PhilGull, that's what I keep thinking too. Surely not everything can be levelled at Nicho? I know he is basically the only person who comes out and says anything to the fans and does appear to be running the club single-handedly, but surely he doesn't come up with the contracts? Implying that high w...

Yorkie, what do you propose the fans should do? You mention protests and boycotts. What do you think that will achieve? Just curious.

(Totally off topic, but I seem to be having an issue with this thread and no others. When I login to the forum and click to see my last read post for this thread, it only shows 2 pages. When I refresh the page it then shows 5 pages, but when I click "First Unread Post" it only goes to Page...

Hi Uberwozza-san, I have been to Torquay in Victoria many times as I live on the other side of the bay in a place called Bonbeach and yes its a nice place but no comparison to Torquay in Devon as their is no Wetherspoons in Torquay Victoria! It's all change on the 'Spoons front, Ausgull. Clocktower...

FGR fans seem very bemused that they've let Racine go (according to the posts on the club's facebook page, anyway).

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?
Guys, it's obvious people have been struggling to get on here and post. I couldn't care less if you agree or not, but If you think a simple message in advance wouldn't have helped people to understand what to do, that is fine and you carry on.

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?
Would it have been a good idea to let people know before the upgrade that they'd have to clear cache/cookies? Traffic/posts have gone down massively, so it's not really applicable to imply the upgrade (what's changed?) has gone well with an of the cuff 'well, the server is working fine' comment. And...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?
Exactly - and anyone who thinks otherwise should really be confined to a rest home for the terminally gullible. And that right there is the issue with people hiding behind keyboards. Shutting arguments down isn't really very helpful, and differing opinions should be considered IMHO. Each to their o...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?
I know I am in the minority, and that's fine. But I'm just putting it out there that I don't see Plainmoor as being the key to any success. Don't get me wrong, I think the whole GI situation stinks worse than Brixham Harbour on a summer's day, but if (and I know that is a very big if with GI involve...
