Torquay United scrap plans for new stadium
We are now down to prayer to save our club. Every fan with money has had a go at running the club, even some without any! We are now stuck with an owner who has loaned the club so much money that there is no way anyone would ever buy it. All we can do now is hope CO keeps his interest up for long en...

Re: Notts County v Torquay United 12/10/19 3pm
Dont wish to put a downer on this but I can see a defeat, the last two games have been bottom of the table whom also scored twice and an out of form side who we nearly drew with. Our defence is poor, midfield ineffective and up front not getting the proper service. I am going for 3-0 nil defeat but...

New signing: Immanuelson Duku
I asked on the Hayes and Yeading board about how Manny Duku managed to do so well for them yet seemed so not very good before or since, these are the responses... Purely my opinion and I’m sure many will see it differently, but I never “saw it” in him. He scored a lot of goals to his credit but he p...

Re: Torquay United Women FC
A shame, as the women's game is gaining momentum and popularity nationwide. I saw them play a few times before the exodus to Buckland (who benefited hugely from our girls). I really enjoyed watching the female TUFC and found the games competitive and entertaining. I also followed the ladies' websit...

Torquay United Women FC
I see the ladies team have now rebranded as TUWFC. Does anyone know what happened to them? They were doing really well for a while and then it all seemed to blow up and most of the players buggered off to Buckland and they seem to have had to start from scratch again.

F.A. Cup
With the squad of players we've got and the way they're performing in the league it seems like the perfect time for a cup run. Just need to sync the good performances with cup weekends and we're away! Would love to see the BBC pundits drooling over Kalala and Reid as they tear apart Spurs shonky def...

Re: Saikou's coming home!!
Whilst this is obviously fantastic news for Torquay, as is the return this season of Opi Edwards and CLE, I can't understand why these quality players are not playing in the football league. Opi is 20 years old, Connor lemonheigh Evans is 22, Saikou Janneh is nearly 20 and Jake Andrews who turned d...

Torquay United v Dagenham & Redbridge 21/09/19
If Buse and Vincent start in midfield I can see us bossing it and winning 3-1. Two super hard working players who will run through brick walls for their team and a player in Vincent who is non to shabby going forward in support of the attack.

Early season apathy or is everyone on their hols.
I think as the season progresses our better performances will become more regular and we will find ourselves top seven come the end. I would be very surprised to see Woking in the top-half come the end of the season, let alone anywhere near promotion. Their part-time legs will get tired, referees wi...

New Signings?
I stand corrected on Niate. Good to see new signings though, especially as nearly every signing GJ has made since coming in seems to have been better than what we already have.

New Signings?
So I guess Keating's days are numbered and Kalala needs improve his game when he get's an opportunity again. I feel for Niate being bombed out of the matchday squad completely but am happy to see some more competition there. I just wish we could find another holding midfielder to keep Hall on his to...

Bolton and Bury
I think Statler and Waldorf on the HE podcast had it right. Clubs need to be run within their means. Apparently there are conference clubs averaging gates of 2-2500 with more than one player on £1500 ish per week. That's crazy and entirely unsustainable. It doesn't matter how much money is washing a...

I would urge everyone to join TUST. The more members they have - the more clout they have. The more members they have the more money they have. The time will come when we need TUST to save the club. Better to prepare now. As for Bury, apparently Day wasn't subjected to the EFL fit and proper owners ...
